A pool of red formed underneath his body. He had been struck twice, and left to die.

Damn those angels....

His breath slow and pained...so this was how the infamous Radio Demon was going to die a second time huh? It was a shame really....to die like this. But he shouldn't have been wondering out and about mere moments before the extermination started. Any sinner knew that was just suicide...he should have listened to the Princess as she had begged him to stay inside the hotel for the night instead of trying to hide at his radio tower like he had always done. But he was stubborn and knew he wouldn't be able to stand Angel for too long so he had to leave...but now...here he is, on the sidewalk of the Gluttony District...with a holy spear in his chest and dying as his blood pooled around him like a rain puddle. The sound of heels clicking against the concrete caused his ear to twitch. "Quite the situation you've gotten yourself in, wouldn't you say Alastor," a familiar, chipper voice called, but he had no energy to move his head to whoever was speaking to him. The clacking of heels stopped as whoever it was, was now next to him. "My my...such a shame....I expected more from the Radio Demon. But it appears even you can't win against an angel and their holy weapons. Though I will admit, you put on quite a show," the voice taunted before they bent down over him with a sharp grin.

His rust eyes widened at the sight of piercing white serpent eyes, red cheeks, and short blonde hair. "Lu...ci...fer...," Alastor gasped out past his own orangey smile. He had only ever met the king once in his afterlife. The first time he arrived here and caused mass mayhem. The two only talked for a few seconds, but had managed to gain a mutual respect for each other. Nothing more came out of it.

"Why yes, it's me....," the king grinned down at him, "Tell me Alastor, would you like to continue your afterlife?" There was no answer, just the sound of one gasping for air. His snake eyes studied the bleeding form below him, one brow quirked upward, "I see you're struggling to speak, well then do try to shake your head to answer me. Now I shall ask again...Alastor, would you like to continue your afterlife?"

He received a slight nod, his grin grew, "I see, well then let me offer you a proposal. Or a deal as you might say. You're familiar with such, yes," his tone condescending when he said that, "I will heal you of all your injuries, if, and only if, you agree to serve me. Does that sound alright?" Although Alastor didn't say anything the look in his eyes said "you're kidding right?"

"Oh so I suppose you wish to go to the void? That's fine with me, I was trying to be so kind and save you but if you'd rather die a second time then by all means—" Lucifer stopped when he noticed the other shaking his head, "Oh, you don't want to die? Then do we have a deal?"

Another nod.

"Good good, lets seal it shall we," the devil reached out his hand, a yellow flame in the palm of it, "Shake my hand."

Alastor weakly brought up his hand, and accept the other's. The blonde haired man's smile twisted to something more sinister. His once white eyes now red as the very blood that was leaving the other's body. How foolish of the demon, his deal with Satan now sealed. His worthless mortal soul belonging to the king of Hell. "The deal is now sealed, sleep dearie, you need it," as Lucifer released Alastor's hand, the deer's eyes shut. The devil's own eyes returned to normal, and he picked up the radio demon's still bleeding body. "I'll heal you at the castle," he spoke to himself as black angel wings sprawled out.

Lilith was sitting on the bed that was in the master bedroom, waiting for her "husband" to return from seeing the wreckage the angels had left behind. To her surprise she didn't have to wait much longer as a shadow creeped upon the wall with large wings. She turned her attention to the balcony of the room, and there stood Lucifer. But he was not alone, no he was carrying a very powerful sinner. "I see you've caught yourself a buck," her black lipstick covered lips formed a smile as she got up. "Yes, an injured one at that," the devil responded placing the others form onto the silk covered bed. "You're going to save him," she questioned, her hands resting on her curved hips. "Of course, I made a deal with him," Lucifer responded, as he stripped the other male of his ruined suit. He sighed as his hand went to the spear that was still lodged into the red sinner's chest, with a harsh yank he ripped it out. Alastor's body twitched but did not wake. For he was under the king's control. "Now let's get that healed," the blond male spoke as a glowing holy light formed around his hand. He placed it over the other's chest and began healing it as he mumbled in a foreign language. Skin pulled, ripped and stitched itself until the hole in Alastor's chest was no more.

Since the bigger and more worrying wound was now healed, he focused his attention to the a gash located on the deer demon's left side. It was festering a little, but that wouldn't be a problem as he quickly healed it. "You are healed...," the king stated as he pulled away, "You will wake up in a few hours from now...you need your rest." He turned to face his "wife", smiling at her, "We shall leave him to rest for now."

She nodded, before walking out the room with him. "The radio demon, huh? You always did have such a fascination with him even when our love for each other was still strong," the tall queen spoke, their heels clicking against the hard floors of the castle. Lucifer's smile grew a tad, his "wife" knew him too well, "Ah yes, Alastor's power truly amazes me...he could become so much more but is content with where he's at. I'd say that in itself is interesting. After all, most demons try to take territory, become overlords, or threaten to steal my throne. Though we all know the last part will never happen."

The two laughed a little at that line as they entered a common room. Lucifer settled on one of the red sofas. Lilith sat across from him, "So, what do you plan to do with him? After all you are free to court another since our love fell through." An imp servant walked over and placed some tea in front of them as they continued their conversation. "Hmm yes I do suppose I can," the devil stated raising his cup to his lips. The queen giggled, "I do wish you good luck. The Radio Demon isn't going to be easy. But since he's already helping our dear Charlotte, he maybe easier than normal."

Lucifer chuckled, "I'm okay if he's not, I do love a challenge." His eyes gave a dangerous glow which caused her to shake her head and smile, "That you do my King. But please do be careful I would hate for some mortal to be the cause of your end."

"I will my Queen, I will," he reassured her.

************

They continued to talk for a while, although the two may no longer be in love, the king and queen still enjoyed each other's company.

Eventually Lilith got up from her seat, "Well I should get going."

"Of course," Lucifer stood up from his own, "You are a busy woman after all. Be careful out there."

The tall woman nodded, and left the common room, leaving Lucifer by his lonesome. He looked at the old grandfather clock in the corner of the common room, a few hours had passed since he had returned home. He grinned, picking up his apple topped cane and began to walk back to bedroom.

Alastor should be waking up by now.
