•••• Sitting underneath the Tree of Eden, Alastor watched as his shadow played with Jon. His ears perked at the sound of foot steps and he turned to see Lucifer walking with deer following him, "They seem to follow you everywhere you go."
The king laughed, "Hah well that comes with being a fallen angel."
Alastor's grin grew slightly, "Is that so? Interesting." Lucifer made his way over and settled next to him. The deer followed, laying next to them. One even putting its head in the devil's lap. He pet it calmly, "Tell me Alastor...how are you feeling right now?"
"Why what ever do you mean?"
"You're not yourself...," Lucifer stated, "You're not smiling as much....only when you have to face others." Alastor looked down as a fawn raised its head at him, he sighed, petting its head gently, "I'm having a hard time I suppose...."
"You've lost someone before...what makes me so different," the devil asked, not looking up from the deer he was petting. "Because-..." Alastor started but choked on his words, tears blurred his vision, "because I...I love you..." Serpent eyes widened, and without hesitation the king pulled the other into a passionate kiss. It shocked the red demon at first but quickly he adjusted, allowing himself to wrap his arms around Lucifer's neck. While hands ran down his slender figure, until they found his tail giving it a little squeeze. This caused Alastor to break the kiss with a small gasp escaping his throat, "L-Lou!"
The devilish king let their foreheads press together as he chuckled, "Sorry dearie, couldn't help myself....but it's probably best we stopped here. You'll be waking soon..."
Alastor gave him a confused look, "Huh?"
"It's time to wake up," Lucifer stated as his voice changed into a woman's when he said the words "wake up."
"Wake up...!" ••••

Red eyes opened to the sound of a familiar voice, he looked up to see the imp maid he had grown used to, "Its time to wake up Mr. Radio Demon sir..."
He scanned the area, registering he was in the garden, until they laid upon the female imp once more. "Sorry to wake you, but I figured you wouldn't want to leave the garden so I brought your breakfast here," the maid motioned to the table where his tray of food was. He got up and forced his usual smile, "I see....thank you umm...? Why forgive me I never took the time to learn your name."

The imp maid smiled, "It's alright, my names Holly."
"Well Holly, I appreciate that you're willing to do that for me," he chimes with fake happiness. Granted to small maid didn't seem to notice it was an act, giving him a smile, "Of course. I know the former king would have wanted me to go the extra mile to insure your happiness in any way I can...," her attention went to the tree, "It's really grown a bit since his passing..."
The deer demon followed her gaze, only nodding as his own eyes rested on the Tree of Eden. A week has passed by since the king's death and the tree was growing rapidly. As for Alastor there was no reason for him to stay at the castle, but he was free to do so anyway. So he did, often choosing to stay in this very garden. He even found himself learning to to tend to it. Jonathan refused to leave his side as well. The little snake had grown far too attached to him. Finding a new place to wrap around, it chose his microphone. He didn't mind it though, after all, Jon was Lucifer's pet.

While he did this, Lilith and Charlie were handling things around the castle. Things were calm right now, but certain Overlords were starting to get restless.

"Dammit do we really want that sinner sympathizer as our ruler?!"

Vox grumbled while sitting on the heart shaped sofa in the porn studios penthouse. Valentino went to lay across his lap, and groaned, "None of us do. She'll have all of hell into a shitfest of sunshine and rainbows."

"No kidding, which would suck because then I can't stab anyone when I like...," Velvet pouted, sharping her knives. The moth looks up at Vox, "So babe, what are we gonna do about this little issue~?"
