Bang!

The crowd went dead silent. Angel and Husk looked at each other both confused by the sudden firing of a gun. Odd sclera eyes widened in horror as he saw his boss, Vox, and Velvet walk into view. "Husky...."

"We have to go up there," Husk growled, flaring out his wings. Angel pulled his arm, "Are ya crazy?! Babe I can't fight my boss! He'll make my work even more hell than it already is!"
Orange irises stared at him for a moment before sighing, "Then you find somewhere safe to hide, I just know I can't leave Al to fight them alone. Niffty let's go!"

"Right!"
The small cyclops jumped off Angel's shoulders, and onto the feline's back

"Be careful...please...," Angel didn't want to lose his man.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I've fought with Alastor before. I can do it again," the red winged cat stated, as he gets ready to take flight. He felt a gentle kiss placed on his cheek, causing him to look over at his spider boyfriend.
"I know, but still, be careful mi amore."

A small smile slipped across the cat's face, "I will doll." With that, Husk flew off towards the castle balcony. Though he was still quite a distance away, his cat ears had keen hearing.

"Let the show BeGiN!"
He heard Alastor's voice, the fight was getting ready to start. He needed to get himself and Niffty up there quickly.

Hearing Alastor say those words meant it was time for the other overlords and families to leave. This wasn't their fight, so they weren't going to be caught in the middle of it. "Oh? So you are actually going to resist," Vox scoffed, "Well fine by me. Velvet, you to get to stab." Velvet started giggling, "Oh fun fun fun fun fun! Just what I was hoping for!"

Before another word could be spoken, the doll like demoness pulled out several knives, "Maybe I'll find out if your made of cake or not! AHAHAHA!" The knives flung forward at Alastor and Lilith. The deer demon was quick to spawn his tentacles to try to stop the knives from hitting him and the queen. "Not gonna work Alastor," Vox called as extension cords started wrapping around the tentacles. It tied them all together giving room for Velvet to attack once more. They had no choice but to dodge this. Luckily the Princess and her girlfriend followed their lead so they too weren't hit. "Aw no fair! Let me hit you," Velvet whined, and just as she was about to throw more, Niffty plopped down, pulling her by her pig tails. "OW! Why you little—!!"

"Husker," Alastor was happy to see his feline friend had made it and helping them up off the ground. "Yeah, yeah, no time for chatter, the damn moth is about to start firing some bullets. Be careful they're holy bullets—," the cat tried to warn before being shot right in the back. He hissed in pain. "Husk-"

"I-I'm alright Princess, it just stings a bit," Husk turned around, "I think Niffty can only distract them for so long. Let's get this over with."

Angel ran inside the castle, Husk told him to hide, but did he really want to just do nothing? So here he was trying to think of someway he could help. He sat on the bed in one of the many guest rooms and looked at Fat Nuggets. He pet the piglets head with a sigh, "What am I supposed ta do Nuggs?
That's when the idea hit him, but he'd need his girl buddy to help him out. Quickly he pulled out his phone.

Cherri: Is this about the ceremony? I'm watching it live right now.

Angel: Yeah! Can you come down?

Cherri: Sure, need me to bring some shit?

Angel: In fact I do. Bring me some clothing, and a mask. I can't fight Val and him know it's me.
