01. poppyseed

space bunnies

a comfy blanket,
some candles and
we were stoned as %!^;
we just lay there on our spines
called the stars and
they appeared

i just
stared into the void and
noticed the sun-sparkled stars
and wondered if
people on their planet were
looking at us like we looked at them

i wondered if
the people on that planet
looked at us because
they are us
but then just
in a parallel universe

i even saw a cloud that
looked like an alien; they noticed us too
