An: this is what's happening after the kids escaped then vans up until Hopper and Joyce have left to go to the lab, just to give you guys a time frame.
Kathryn's POV
As I watched the kids ride off away from us I knew my husband didn't tell me the whole story. And if I wanted to know I was gonna have to figure it out myself.
After Brenner took a few agents to the Wheeler house, Dennis and I were told to gather files and helpful items from our house.
Time skip
"When we're you gonna tell me?" I asked as I looked through some papers on my desk
"Oh come on Kat, you know this is bigger than us! We're fighting a war here, and think, our daughter could be leading the charge!" He said with a crazed look in his eyes
"Do you hear yourself?! She is not just some runaway or another throw away! She is your child Dennis!" I yelled
"You're not hearing me! With those powers Tara can create and destroy worlds! Once she realize her full potential she could help us just like all the others! An unstoppable army!" He laughed
"I can't believe this!" I sighed then I heard the front door open and Brenner walked into the office
"We've found the children." He said nodding to Dennis and I sighed once we walked outside I noticed everyone had guns and weapons.
"Wait we aren't gonna hurt them right?" I asked looking around.
"Whatever it takes for the greater good Kathryn. Right now the children view us as a threat. Tara is a very powerful child and if that girl corrupts her and causes her to turn against us we will all be in grave danger." Brenner try's to explain as I look at Dennis. He nodded walking over to the van. I looked around disgusted but sighed following them to the van.
At the school
"It was never supposed to be like this you know? This wasn't supposed to happen this way." Dennis said slowly
"Oh really Dennis?! Do tell me how this played out in your head when you went behind my back and experimented on our child?!" I spat as my voice was full of venomous sarcasm. And he sighed. I heard screaming and gun shots so I ran into the school with Dennis following closely behind me.
Tara's POV
I was weak, I could barely keep my eyes open all I knew was that I was currently being held by Brenner as my friends yelled for me.
"Tara! Let her go! Let them go! El!" They yelled then I heard mike say something about blood and the demogorgon but I passed out
