AN: Hey guys, thanks so much for the reviews. I really appreciate all the feedback and love I am receiving on this story, and it makes me want to write more! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy Chapter 12!

Recap:

Perseus smiled at her response before scooping her up bridal style, causing Zoë to yelp. "Let's go back, I must ready myself for tomorrow's battle." As he said this, he shot forward towards the surface, being propelled by the currents before shooting out of the water and landing on the beach, Zoë still in his arms.

"Sorry, that was quicker," Perseus said with a chuckled.

Zoë sent a playful glare at him before jumping out of his arms before grabbing her cloak. Perseus put it on her as they walked into their camp hand in hand. As they walked into Perseus' tent, Zoë walked over to Perseus as he was taking off his shirt. She stood on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks Perseus, I really enjoyed tonight," she said as she retreated to their bed. Perseus smiled before touching the place where she kissed him before heading off in the same direction to get some rest for tomorrow.

Present:

About a week had passed since Zoë and Perseus' night on the beach and sea, and they had gotten into a normal routine. If Perseus had a battle, she would wait for him in his tent, and when he inevitably returned, Zoë would bound right into his arms, and they would spend the rest of the day together. If there was no fighting, Perseus and Zoë would spend the whole day together.

On that faithful day when Thetis was coming, Perseus woke up and immediately turned to his left. What he saw made him smile. This girl had awoken feelings in him like never before, and he admired everything about her. Unfortunately, he knew he would have to send her away to keep her safe. He didn't want her having any part in this war, but eventually, if he survived, he would find her again.

He tried to slip out of his bed, but a small frown grew on Zoë's face as he left the bed. "I just need to see my brother. I'll come back with food," he said, chuckling at her expression.

As he put on a shirt and pulled the covers back over Zoë, he walked outside his tent. While the sun was barely up, there were a few men up and about. After letting Eudoros know and placing him on guard duty, he walked into his brother's tent, and what he saw made him smile broadly.

Both his brother and Brisēís were naked on his bed, while clearly came from a night of passion the previous night. Not noticing his brother, Achilles woke up and gave Brisēís a kiss, before Brisēís returned it and they began going at it again. Before it could amount to anything, Perseus cleared his throat and covered his mouth to prevent him from laughing.

"You better have a good reason for being her," Achilles growled.

Perseus bit back a laugh. "Sorry brother, while you must have had an amazing night of rest, we must talk. After all, we are in a war." Achilles grumbled while Brisēís hid under the bedsheets, her cheeks reddening. Perseus left the tent as he waited for his brother.

A few moments later, Achilles came out, half-dressed, with a scowl on his face.

Perseus laughed. "I see you've been keeping busy. How many times? 10?"

Achilles scowled again, causing his brother to laugh again. "Have you done it with Zoë yet? You are clearly fond of her?" Achilles asked.

Perseus shook his head. "No, I would never, I respect her too much just to sleep with her and then throw her away. Besides, mother is coming today, and I'm getting her out of here."
