Kihyun had no other choice but to believe him.

----

Just as Minhyuk had said to, Kihyun was going to take a day for himself. First, he decided he would sleep in past his normal waking time of 6:30 AM, 'till 8:00 AM instead. Then, he would go to a movie (he didn't care so much about the content), as they were always better in theaters.

With this, he would allow his mind some peace and quiet: a break from anything having do to with Changkyun. He needed this--he knew he did--so today, he would forget all about him.

Or at least, he thought he would.

"I need to go to the bathroom, so do you need anything while I'm up? A snack? A new drink?" Kihyun looked to his two friends from his crouched position in the aisle, not wanting to block the large screen at the front of the room. The movie they were watching was really interesting, the kind of movie that has you sitting on the edge of your seat with intrigue. He didn't want to miss any of it, so he decided to be as quick as he possibly could.

Jooheon simply shook his head, sending the male a smile of appreciation. Minhyuk, on the other hand, seemed to straighten in his seat. "You're buying?"

"Yes...?"

"Okay, then can I get a refill on my soda and some Swedish Fish? Please and thank you."

Kihyun nodded slightly, committing the request to memory, and stumbled his way to the end of the aisle, towards the staircase. From there, he bustled down to a corner, where he turned and exited. Then, out of desperation for not wanting to miss much of the film, he hurriedly went to the bathroom, and as soon as he had finished, he booked it for the food. He had to turn left from the restroom door to make it the where the snack booths resided, the employees inside bustling about.

He watched his feet almost thoughtfully as they hit the red carpet with each new step. One by one they went, and only did he look up when a shadow loomed over the edges of his toes.

He curiously trailed his gaze upwards before letting out a quiet groan. There went his happiness. There went his peace.

There went his heart.

Stolen once more

"H-hi... Changkyun." He inwardly hoped this would be enough of a greeting for him to scurry away without saying anything else, but he knew in all reality, it wasn't. He couldn't afford to leave his already fragile heart in the male's possession any longer, so until he had somehow managed to steal it away, he wouldn't be able to leave.

The way the other's eyes sharpened had him taking a small step back. Their gazes were once more tied together, and again he was drawn in: drawn in the way a river is drawn to an ocean. Drop by drop, word by word, more pieces of himself were pulled away, never to be found again, not until the time came where what little remained of him was drawn away, too.

"What are you doing here? I don't s-suppose you're watching IT: Chapter Two, as well? If so, I'm sorry to tell you that you're a bit late."

"Kihyun."

The pinkette let out a high pitched hum, his body stiffening, frozen. He was losing himself. His grip tightened around Minhyuk's empty soda cup; he could almost hear the sound of it crackling in his ears.
