[15.] Facing The Reality!

The rage I felt was indescribable, it just bubbles inside of me and there was nothing I could do. A this point the anger wasn't my own the kyuubi was taking over my mind. 'I need to talk to you dattebayo!' I yelled in my own head trying to see him again like all those years ago. 'I know you can hear me! Face me you coward!'

In Mito's Mind~
I was once again in the dark cold room with water flooding the ground. Except this time I wasn't scared at all and I approached his cage angrily.

"You've got nerve calling me a coward human girl" The kyuubi growled at me causing me to step back with caution. "Haha! What happened to all that courage you had earlier?" He chuckled evilly, but I just glared at him in return.

"Stop leaking your chakra!" I ordered noticing it was also leaking from behind the bars. 'Could he take over if I completely lost control?' I thought hearing him laugh at me "I'm not joking around with you!"

"Who do you think you are?" He scoffed starting to claw at me through the gate. "You should be thankful I'm giving you my power insolent brat!"

"I don't need or want your power foxy" I shouted having my chakra chains shooting from my torso. They slowly started wrapping themselves around his legs, head, and waist. "Here's your last chance to obey me before I make you!"

"Who do you think you're—"

"Wrong answer," I glared tightening the chains which not only contained him, it contained his chakra. "You just sit boy," I taunted going up to him "I don't want to use force, I was hoping we could be partners."

Outside of her mind~
The nine-tailed cloak around me began to disappear and I felt a little lightheaded. 'At least I know my chains can hold him' I breathed stepping to the side where Kakashi and Naruto were. Just like me Naruto was out of breath and very drained, controlling such a strong chakra was tolling.

"Mito are you alright?" Kakashi asked and I gave him a shaky nod, trying to stand up.

"I was able to suppress his chakra on my own" I breathed looking over at Naruto who gave me a reassuring smile.

"You'll have to teach me that trick sometime,"

"Yeah maybe" I smiled when I sensed Sakura and Chiyo coming over. "I'm so glad they made it, at least they defeated their guy" I sighed confusing the other two boys until the ladies came into view. 'Hm he's still around here..I guess he thought we'd just give up, looks like Team Gai is finally here for backup,' I thought walking over to him.

"Mito?" Sakura piped up, but I just got out my kunai watching as he laid there. 'I'll never forgive him for what he's done to Gaara' I thought flashing over in front of him, but he had already backed up.

"I thought I told you to run" I glared darkly, he was cornered between me and Team Gai. TenTen immediately threw some kunai towards him causing him to jump up in the air where Lee was waiting to kick him, but he also blocked that backing up into me. 'They're so fast-paced' I noted aiming to slash his neck with my kunai, but then he blocked and landed in front of Gai.

"I commend your ability to adapt Mito!" Gai smirked throwing a punch towards Deidara who successfully evaded. "However do you think you can keep up?"

"I'll try my best Gai-sensei," I smiled lightly as Lee began to punch and kick without stopping effectively backing him into Neji's range. 'Each attack flows into the next, they're teamwork is excellent.'

"8 Trigrams: Air palm," Neji was able to blow Deidara back into a tree and I began to run over to him, but he got up to run away. 'Where's he trying to go? He's going to run back into the others.' I thought noticing some clay remains of his bird in the clearing, so I stepped back.

"Be careful he uses explosives! He's a long range fighter" I announced to Team Gai watching as he bit off a portion of clay and began to chew it. 'What the hell, that's so gross is he eating clay?' I winced trying to stay on my feet, I didn't understand why he was eating his own explosive clay.

"His chakra," Neji gasped and that's when I noticed it, he was concentrating it all to one spot. 'He's going to blow himself up!' I thought with wide eyes feeling Neji grab my shoulder roughly. "Did you not hear me idiot! Start running!" He demanded, but even if we did we wouldn't be able to get out in time. 'I can't flash everyone away..I should at least try to' I thought almost doing the impossible, but the impossible happened. Suddenly the explosion was gone, no boom, no nothin just a crater where Deidara once stood. 'Kakashi-sensei!' I gasped seeing he had his Mangekyou activated, 'his ability worked.'

"Sensei!" I flashed over catching him before he fell to the ground, "You really overexerted yourself, but that was so awesome dattebayo!"

"Kakashi-sensei what did you do?" Sakura asked with a confused expression, in fact everyone shared her confusion. 'We did almost get blown up.'

"I-I sent the explosion to another dimension" Kakashi explained with ragged breathing, finally covering his Sharingan. "More importantly is everyone alright?"

"Seriously! We're all fine, you're the one who's completely drained" I scolded giving him some of my chakra since he was dangerously low. "You need to gather up some energy so leave the rest to us, you've done enough."

"You make me feel like an old man Mito" Kakashi joked and I gave him a light smile. 'I can't have him dying on me anytime soon.'

"Sakura..?" Naruto's clone comes down from the tree Gaara in hand. If anyone could save him, if he had any ounce of life in him still Sakura could make it happen. So we went into an open clearing where she started to evaluate him, but by the solemn look on her face he was gone. Gaara was dead.
