Percy POV

"So... where do you live?" I asked.

"What are you gonna do, stalk me?", Calypso.

"Jeez, I was just trying to start a conversation!" I said back.

"Well then drop it", Calypso sneered.

"Fine then!".

I saw Nico out of the corner of my eye bothering the black haired girl and I couldn't help but laugh when he got elbow in the face.

But seeing Nico's death glare shut me up quick.

Eventually the four of us had fallen into an awkward silence as we scrolled through the shelves of weird exotic foods like bread? And eggs?

"Hey Caly-", I started.

"Calypso idiot", Ms. Snooty pants sneered.

"Fine Calypso", I said. "Are we there yet?".

"What are you, a child forced to go on a family road trip?".

"Seriously can you say one sentence without an insult?".

"Nope, Sea Grass Head".

"Ouch, Caly, that hurt".

"Yo Mr. Stupid, can you get your son of a gun of a friend off of me", I heard a voice behind me. I turned around to see Nico hanging off of black haired girl's arm.

"What happened?" Calypso said.

"Wow, so we jumping from stage 1 to stage 10 eh?" I said, wiggling my eyebrows. I saw Nico go beet red before letting go of the girl's arm.

"Seriously Nico, I'm aboutta kill you".

"But Theia!" Nico whined. It was really funny. If Nico got a crush on a girl, he would drop the I'm-the-sleepy-emo-kid to I'm-the-sleepy-cuddly-bear-kid.

I was laughing butt off and before I could tease Nico, I was hit in the head by a metal thing.

I turned around to find Calypso laughing her butt off, pointing at a package of red things.

"What are those?" I said, scratching my head.

My only response was a laughing Calypso except harder.

"What? I'm trying to make sure you aren't poisoning me!" I defended.

"That is meat", Theia replied, walking over to us.

Suddenly, Calypso's face hardened.

"Theia! Atlas!" Calypso whispered.

Theia's face dropped from a smiling state and her eyes widened. And a second later, the both if them were gone.

"What just happened?" I said.

"Not sure", Nico replied, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, besides that, you and Theia were really chummy, eh?" I smirked, elbowing Nicky.

"Shut up no we weren't", Nico huffed, hitting my shoulder.

"How did you even end up clinging to her arm?" I asked laughing.

Nico turned beet red. "So, um, I said that my talking is probably the best thing that happened to her. Then she said sarcastically that grabbing her arm would be the best thing that ever happened to her. So I did".

I burst out laughing at his story, drawing a few looks.

"Shut up, we should probably leave anyways", Nico mumbled.

"So we just grab a lotta meet", I deadpanned.

"I guess so", Nico shrugged.

So we piled up 10 packs of meet walked out of the store.

After making a few wrong turns and a bunch of yelling, we had made it to our house.

And as soon as we walked through the door, we bumped into Jason.

"Hi Jason!" I said cheerfully, setting 5 packs of meat on the table.

"How'd you guys pay? I thought you had went home since I couldn't find you guys in the store so I came here to check but apparently you were stocking up on meat for a family of 20", Jason groaned.

"Pay?" I said, ignoring whatever bogus Jason said about the meat.

"You didn't pay!" Jason exclaimed.

"What's that?".

"It's a type of trade. You give people coins so you can get something in return. And you earn coins by working", Jason said, rubbing his forehead.

"Well, then where are the coins?" I asked.

"Here" Jason replied, holding out a few bronze, metal, round things.

"Nico can take them to the store!" I said, giving a sleeping Nico the money by placing it in his open palm.

I then proceeded to kick him.

"Hey!" Nico bolted up.

"Bring this meat back to the store and put 7 back. Then get some corn and rice and bring them to the counter in the middle of the store. Then, ask the person there, "How many coins?" and give the amount to him", Jason said, sitting down on the hay.

"Wha-", Nico said as I pushed him out the door, slamming the door.

A few moments later, I heard a "HEY THEIA, NICE SEEING YOU HERE!".
