Can I be a hero too?

"Even without a quirk, can I be hero, too?"

Izuku stood there, waiting for All Might's answer. It was dumb luck that he met his hero. Izuku was just walking back home from a rough beating at school....And after his best friend, Kacchan told him to just take a swan dive off a roof  in hoped of a quirk in his next life. Maybe he was right?  He was walking righting in his notebook about the Flame Hero Nova and the most recent villain, Vulture. When all of a suddened he was attacked by..slime? The slime seemed to be talking?!

 "You will make a great hidding place for now." Izuku kicked and scream. "Stop moving around kid, the more you fight, the more it will hurt!" Izuku thought it was over. He was going to die. Somedays, he wished he did die during that moment. When all of a sudden, as his thoughts were starting to slip away, the slime, too, seemingly washed away. When he woke up, someone was smacking him carefully on the cheek. "Hey! Hey! Get up! Hey!" Izuku awoke to...ALL MIGHT!

All Might had saved him from the villain that was made out of slime. The villain nearly killed him but All Might had just got there in time. After the hero gave Izuku his autograph when the boy was out cold, All Might flew to hand away the villain to the police. But Izuku had managed to grabbed on his leg. He had to hold on or else he would fall to a.... gain a horrible injury. All Might had to land near a building so the boy could let go of his leg. His hero told to knock on the door so someone will let him in. But not before telling Izuku that was dangerous what he did.

However, Izuku wanted to ask All Might an important question. One that will make an impact for the rest of his life. For better or for worst. He asked his ...old....beloved hero if it was possible if someone like him could be a hero without quirk. He just had to know if it was possible at all. It was his dream to be like All Might. Always saving people with a smile on his face. He smiled wider than ever. With hope shining in his eyes.

But he didn't noticed the smoke coming from All Might. Nor did he noticed that his hero was in pain. Enough pain to make him cough up blood.

"I always wanted to be like you. I always wanted to save people with a smile on my face!" Izuku said. But when he finally noticed the smoke, it was too late. All Might had somehow became small and skinny, almost like a skeleton. He thought, who was this guy?

Izuku stared in surprise and shock. To see All Might like this, was something that he never imagined something like this in his life. This was no way this was All Might , the No 1 Pro Hero in the world. The No 1 Pro Hero that Izuku would always cheer for. The person he and so many others looked up too.

"Where's All Might?! Are you a fake?" He ask the skinny man. What was going on?  Who was this man? A fake? A wannabe? A...

"I am All Migh..." The small, skinny was going that he is All Might but he cough up blood. Lots of it. It covered his hand and the floor in crimison read.

"But that can't be. All Might is really big and strong! He always saves people with a smile!" Izuku was wondering if he was having a weird dream.

"You know when guys suck in his stomach to look buff in the pool? Im just like that," All Might explain.

"But All Might is so fearless. He can't be like this! Izuku said. He was still trying to process what was happening in front of him. Was this real? Did is this really All-Might?

All Might sigh. The hero look tried, "Take a look at this," All Might said as he lifted his shirt up, revealing a ugly scar on his left stomach, "It was five years ago that I got this from a dangerous villain. I could only be a hero for three hours in a day. That fight wasn't made pubic. I asked the hero commisson to make it not be public."

"Was it Toxic Chainsaw?" Izuku said. He had heard of that villain before. They had a brutal battle, in which landed Toxic Chainsaw in Tarturus, and All Might injured but not th-

"You know your stuff. But no it wasn't," All Might, getting up to leave.,"Please, don't tell anyone about what you learn, or putting it up online. I always to put a smile so people won't be afraid. If they knew the symbol of peace was weakened and can only work 3 hours a day, then crime might rise rapidly.

Izuku now knew that this was real. He just learn about All Might's greatest secret. But he knew that he had to keep it a secret as well. Afterall the world needs to believe in the symbol of peace The same symbol of peace that was lying to all of them-. He quickly got out of his thoughts. This is All Might hes doing it for everyones safety! Right? He looked at All Might, waiting for him to answer the questions. Some days, in the future, Izuku wished, he just let go instead. 

"Pros are always risking their lives to save others. And for your question, No, I don't think can you be a hero without a quirk," All Might said, walking to the door without looking back the young boy, "If you want to help people, try become a cop. It's thankless job since they have to clean up the heroes' aftermath, but it's a fine job. It's alright to dream. But you must dream realistically," The No 1. Pro Hero said. "Now I must be getting along now, I want to see my nephew" stated the pro hero, before shutting the door behind him.

Izuku was left on the rooftop. Alone. His hero just told him he couldnt become a hero. Instead into becoming a cop. The man who smiled on TV always saying to do your best and to always smile and follow your dreams. Just told him to be a cop, and crushed his dreams. He decided to leave the rooftop. 

This incident changed this Universe's history forever
