I'm Ruel

"Oh god" Ruel smiled widely as he pulled me into a tight hug, not caring about my family looking. "I missed you" I mumbled into his shoulder, like it was a routine. "Yeah you did" he chuckled kissing my hair. "Just say I missed you too" I pouted at him, he just laughed before saying he missed me too.

He pulled away, but before kissing the top of my hair once again.

"I'm Ruel" he introduced himself, sticking his hand out for my dad to shake. "Jace, and we're really thankful for everything you've done for Maisy" he added, before pulling Ruel into a hug. "Well it was nothing" Ruel shook off the compliment.

"Sarah" my mom introduced herself, also giving Ruel a hug. "And you must be Alice" Ruel said to my younger sister. "yeah that's me" she said in a shaking voice. "Nice to meet you too" he smiled giving her a hug, and she was shaking. I tried not to laugh. "Let's get everyone's stuff in the car" he then smiled, before guiding us towards his little red car.

"I hope there's space enough" I chuckled as he took my hand in his, walking towards the car. "Me too" he whispered. "Guess we'll have to leave Alice behind" my dad joked. "Agreed" I simply laughed. Alice just made a disapproving sound, before she grabbed our moms hand.

We all fit in the car, surprisingly enough, dad took my usual seat beside Ruel, and mom, Alice and I cramped together in the back, with a few bags and shit. "So where too?" Ruel asked my dad, my dad gave him the address to the hotel we were staying at while we'd get everything for my apartment. "And if Maisy wants to sleep over at yours it's okay with us" my mom added in.

"Well then I'd like to do that" I laughed. My mom just laughed and gave my hand a slight hug. "Thank you" I whispered, before I rested my head on her shoulder, just as Alice had, on my shoulder.

"Wakey wakey" Dad called shaking me and Alice lightly, as mom had already woken up. "We're at the hotel now" he whispered. "I'll see you guys tomorrow at the apartment at?" I asked trying to figure out when we were going to meet. "Let's say 1PM, we'd like to have a look around Sydney" mom concluded since dad were helping Ruel in emptying the trunk. "Alright, love you" I smiled.

"See you" They all waved as me and Ruel drove away. "They're nice" he concluded. "Yeah" I agreed with him, resting my head back in the seat. "They are" I added, before I drifted off to sleep.

"Maisy" Coco yelled when she saw me, "I missed you" she gave him a tight hug. I couldn't help but smile. "I missed you more" I said. "Not possible" she stated. I gave her a look that said yes. "Hmm"

"Anyways I'm gonna start making dinner later with dad, Sylvie is also coming tonight" she said before she left for the kitchen. "I swear my family loves you more than me" Ruel complained with a big pout. "Can you blame them?" I asked flipping my hair like a diva. "Well, no, not really" he complained again.

"Good" I gave him a kiss, also handing him my bags before I walked upstairs into his bedroom, to throw my body on his bed. I was gonna take a big fat nap. Even though I took one in the car.

"Wake your ass up" I was awoken by Ruel shaking me roughly... hmmmm. Okay focus Maisy you nasty hoe. "I have a cute ass" I mumbled before flipping over on my other side. "Mais" he trailed off. "Just come here" I said opening my arms. "Mais it's too hot outside, let's go to the beach, I know a good place" he assured me.

"But I'm not into people today" I complained. "There'll be no one beside us of course" he chuckled, holding up his pinky. "Pinky promise" he promised me. "There better not be" I said linking my pinky with his.

"Okay now come here" I pouted, Ruel of course did as told.

My hands quickly found his hair, we just laid in complete silence, I was twirling his hair around my finger, just enjoying the moment. It was moments like this, that really made me realize just how much I was in love with Ruel, yes I said it.

I'm in love with Ruel.

And I can't seem to stop falling.

Everything from his personality, scent, hair, yes even his caterpillar, made me fall even more.

Scary shit.

"Kids dinner is ready" Kate's voice took us out of our slumper, slowly we both got up. "That was a big fat nap, let me tell you" I said squeezing my eyes together. "We wasted the entire day though" Ruel sighed. "Hey don't be upset, it's okay, that nap was very much needed" I pulled him in for a hug. "Besides I'm not leaving again, I'm going to be fucking living here in Sydney, close to you" I smiled kissing his cheek. 

"Well-"

"No, come on, dinner is ready" I told him, taking his hand in mine, pulling him with me downstairs. "There you guys are, we thought we'd have to fill a bucket with water to wake you" Coco laughed, making the others laugh as well. 

"I was tired okay" I pout, making them, Ruel included laugh. "What's you're excuse Ruel?" Ralph looked at Ruel with a sassy look. "She's comfy" he shrugged. "That could be misunderstood in so many ways" Sylvie says scrunching her nose. 

"Sylvie!" Kate exclaimed in shock, slapping her shoulder lightly. "They're good kids, they'd never" she added, making everyone laugh. "Mom, I know Ruel is mama's boy but, em-" Coco trailed off. "-But he is a teenage boy" Ralph added. 

I just sat down at the table with a telling face expression. "Okay topic change" Ruel whined sitting down next to me.

"Okay but now we're going to the beach" he said getting himself up from the bed. Yes, we had gone back to bed after dinner. "But Ruel" I complained. "No, come on, we'll be able to see the sunset if we leave now" he informed me, with a deep sigh, I got up from the bed too. I quickly found my bathing suit and left for the bathroom.

"Ruel and I 

After I'd changed I was met by Ruel talking on the phone in a hushed but angry voice. I stayed quiet.

"Ready?" I asked after he had hung up. He just nodded before giving me a soft kiss on the forehead. A soft smile placed itself on my lips, he really made me go crazy. "God I like you so much, it's absurd" I muttered. I don't think he heard me, hopefully.

Ruel grabbed my hand loosely as we walked to the car, it didn't seem like anybody beside us were home, hmmm. We walked past the car, which I found weird. "Aren't we taking the car?" I asked Ruel. "No, don't think it's worth driving two minutes" he chuckled letting go of my hand, to wrap his arm around my shoulder.

"Sorry" I said getting a bit embarrassed.

"It's all good baby"
