He lumbered into the cafe, a shiny leather jacket around his shoulders. I had half expected him not to show; but Wes proved that he's as unpredictable as ever. We had both wanted to get away from the hotel; especially after how Zero and Scarlett had seen us.., connecting. Okay no. That sounds worse than kissing. We were kissing, okay?!

Wes sat across from me at a table in the corner. "Tell me they serve beer here."

I can't help but sigh. "Wes. This isn't a bar."

He scoffs, pulling up the menu. He frowns at the front, probably disgusted by the smiling cartoon cupcakes on it. "Then tell me that they serve something decent."

I'm beginning to lose my patience. "Wes. Aren't we going to talk about it?"

"Talk about what?" He studies the menu again, leaning forward. "What type of **** is this? 'Cheerful Noodles'?"

"Zero and Scarlett! Walking in on us!" I hissed. I look up in time to see the server whip around and head to another table. Oops. Probably for the best.

He glances over the menu, his eyes seeming to darken. "What about it? They've kissed before."

"They're dating! We're not- are we dating?"

"I thought we were having fun," he answered stiffly, putting the menu down. "I also thought that we came here to eat."

I snatched the menu, putting it back in place. "I think we need to talk about this!"

"There's nothing to say! You enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, and it doesn't matter what they think!" He answered, a touch too loudly for me. I heard him far too clearly.

I sighed, flicking my hair back. "I just think.., maybe we should stop pretending."
