A/N: to lazy to find some pics and a gud quote.

I woke up to the smell of chocolate pancakes and syrup, sitting up the bed where me and svana slept last night like a baby. I yawned and stretched my body like a cat. I hadn't slept this good in many days.

I walked towards the bathroom and hurriedly did my business, only coming out to watch svana place the breakfast on bed with a worrisome expression on her face.

"Here, have some breakfast; then we will go to the bakery"

I sighed as i knew she wouldn't tell me the reason of the strange things she said last night. But i will squeeze it out of her if i have to.

I did breakfast while svana looked at me very strangely.
We got up and got ready for the day as i decided to ask her what was the matter.

"What happened to you last night; why were you acting very strangely and what pushed you so much that you were going to send me out of here?"

She was hiding something big, i could just feel it. I would find myself in due time if God permits.
Svana just ignored me and started walking forwards towards the front door, opened it signalling me to follow her.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••

After a long day of baking bread, cakes and cupcakes i was throughly spent. I looked over at svana seeing her still working without any sweat.

"How are you still working without breaking any sweat?," i asked sighing in annoyance. Her back stiffened and she answered that it was in her genes.

She was cutting the cake into pieces by the knife when her finger came in the way and suddenly there was blood everywhere. I got up and ran to take the first aid kit, as i was coming back her finger was healed and she smiled sheepishly at me. "It's also in the genes, Delilah" she said looking down at her fingers which held a gruesome cut minutes ago.

Something was very very wrong, I could just feel it. I excused myself, going to the bathroom. I saw myself in the reflection, seeing how tired i was from everyone hiding something from me, but i will find myself.

I have to give myself some time as seeing my rough dried skin and dark circles under my eyes were proof from the nights i couldn't sleep properly and were filled with the nightmares of my brother.

Coming out of the bathroom, i continued my journey towards my cottage shivering as the cold air swished past me howling as the dark clouds rolled in the sky promising thunder. I took the rest of the day as svana excused me as saying i need some rest.

I was nearing my cottage when something strange caught my eye in the trees nearby. I took slow steps towards the little cub and slowly reached down to pick it up as it his eyes held no hesitation and jumped into my arms, whimpering with cold. The thing i didn't noticed at first were the claw marks on the side of his little body.

I immediately started to walk fast towards my cottage as my first thought was tending to this little wolf. I didn't know that how he got this and got to the edge of the forest without his parents. I opened my front door, and run to the kitchen grabbing the first aid kit from the cup-broad.

The wold was whimpering with pain and blood was stuck to it's black fur. I cleaned his wounds and stitched where it was needed. I needed to run the bath and clean the dirt so his wounds doesn't get infected.

Later on, i put him on my queen sized bed under the covers and laid myself next to it. I just had a feeling it won't hurt me. I couldn't sleep as i was worried for the little pup. He looked like he was sleeping soundly on my bed, so i got up towards the kitchen, making a cup of coffee.

I walked towards the huge window in my living room while clutching the cup of coffee which kept my hands warm. I looked outside while drawing the blinds aside clearing the view for me to see. Snow was falling hard and i will have to clear the path surrounding the walk ways around my cottage.

Suddenly, there was a shadow that passed so quick through the end of forest line that i thought i imagined it. I continued to look for another 5 mins when that same wolf i saw in my dreams stepped out sniffing the snow with it's snout slowly coming towards my cottage and looked up, snapping it's bear like sharp teeth.

I took a step back from the window seeing the wolf more angry now. I hurriedly shut the blinds of my window to prevent myself from seeing the monstrous figure of the wolf that was watching me intently. I could feel the gaze of the wolf even behind the blinds burning me, scorching me with his stare.

I ran towards my room to protect the pup that i brought with me when a sudden thought hit like a brick that, that wolf could be his mother/father. I picked him up and it snuggled against my chest as i walked towards the front door talking deep breaths to calm my never-ending anxiety thinking that wolf could possibly harm with its sharp claws and teeth.

I would just keep the pup near him and ran towards my cottage.

Yeah, that sounds like a brilliant plan.

The voice inside me spoke as i don't even  have a clue where it comes from but i learned to deal with it over the years. I opened the front door stepping outside, the cold air hitting my cheeks making them go red as i exhaled a breath of air which became fog as being released into air.

The wolf was starring at me giving that cryptic glare again but when he saw the pup in my eyes, his eyes soften and i knew that he/she was his parents. I leaned down and slowly kept the pup on the snow, and as soon as i kept it the wolf grabbed the pup with his scruff and looking at them i turned around and ran towards my cottage.

Seeing as the luck was not on my side as always i tripped over the rock and landed face-first in the cold snow. I groaned in pain and slowly stood up keeping my arms over the ground. I looked towards the wolf standing near me, and it's eyes worried..?

Want. Want. Want.

What?! That voice have never said that to anyone. Why want a wolf when i can have a human man. Werewolves don't exist. I started moving away from the wolf as it growled dropping the pup on the snow as it were a rag.
