"Your not taking my mate anywhere!" Kale screamed at him and ran over with werewolf speed and got up in Dave's face and said,"She's mine!" I couldn't help but laugh. Kale looked at me weird and the group of guys that were most likely eye raping me stated staring, but Dave was almost laughing on the ground with me. Kale wasn't very happy with this. "What is wrong with you two?!" I managed out,"He's....gay.." He chuckled as he pulled me up. He looked at Dave and said,"Sorry, and do I get to come on the double date?" Dave rolled his eyes and said,"Where else would the double be?" He looked adorably confused and I explained,"He has his mate." He nodded and said,"Ok where are we going?" Dave shrugged and said,"Haven't decided yet." He gave me his number and said,"Text me and I'll give you the details." He gave me a hug and Kale one of those guy hand shakes, then left. I fixed my bowl of cereal, and started towards the dining room. Kale stopped me, and said,"Lets go eat in the room." I followed him upstairs, trying not to chow down on my cocoa puffs yet. He had lucky charms, and he was stealing a marshmallow every now and then. I plopped down on the bed and stuffed my face. He chuckled and said,"You care so much about not eating like a pig around a guy." I shrugged and said,"If we plan on being together for a while, you need to see how I eat. Plus I'm hungry." His eyes were alight with happiness but he didn't say anything. I finished mine while he was still eating. I grabbed the last piece, which happened to be a marshmallow. He screamed,"My marshmallow!" I ate it and said,"Catch me if you can, Mr.Future Alpha" he growled playfully and I took off running. I giggled as I ran down the stairs. I took off in the kitchen, but slid and fell. The omega's had been mopping, and I messed it up. They weren't mad though, they said,"Hide in the closet, we'll hide your scent." I thanked them and hid, while they masked it with Clorox and other cleaning supplies. I guess he had gotten there before they were done, because the door flew open and he dragged me out by my ankles. I screamed,"Help me! I ate his marshmallow and now he's going to eat me!" The omegas laughed and said,"Sorry Luna, I can't go against Alpha." I froze, wide eyed. "I'm Luna?" He nodded and said,"My dad just retired this morning. I didn't get a chance to tell you." He pulled me up the stairs, careful not to make me hurt myself. He pulled me, and it hit one of the fresh bruises that Angela had caused. I winced, hoping he wouldn't notice. Of course, he did. He pulled me up to my feet and lifted my shirt and seen the horrible, ugly bruise. At first he thought he did it. Then he took a closer look and realized its been there for a couple weeks. "Who did all of this?" He noticed some more bruises on my ribs. I sighed and looked down. "My mother, she hates me and couldn't stand me." He growled a scary growl and that caused me to back up and almost trip down the stairs. Luckily, Kale grabbed me, causing me to stumble into his arms. He whispered, "Why? Why would she do that to my little Sam? Why wasn't I there?" He started mumbling to himself, but I heard some of the words. He was blaming himself. "Stop." We heard my Luna power, flowing through my voice. My eyes widened and so did Kale's. I brushed it off for now and said,"It's not your fault, now stop blaming yourself." He looked down," If I would have found you sooner, you would have went through less." I shook my head. "Nope, the past is the past, I'm over it." He looked up into my eyes and I got trapped. Green- gray. That's all I can see. He lent in and was about to kiss me. I turned away at last second and let him kiss my cheek. He looked hurt,"I'm sorry, I've never kissed any one. I always push the boys away." I looked down. He pushed my face up and made me look in his eyes,"That's ok Sam. You now why?" I shook my head. "Because, I get to teach you how." I frowned thinking about the girls he used to have in his room. He followed my thoughts and blushed. "I didn't mean-" I cut him off,"The past is the past, chill." He smiled and nodded, pulling me up to the room. "Text Dave, so we can see where we need to go." I grabbed my iPhone and put his number into my contacts. I texted him

Me:Hey where are we going tonight?

Dave:Going to the melting pot

Me:Ok let us get ready

Dave:KK

"We're going to the Melting Pot." He nodded and we started getting ready. I decided on some light bootcut jeans with holes all over and a black lace top with a pink tank under it. I also wore by favorite black joe boxer flip flops. I brushed my hair and teeth. Then I sat on the bed and waited on Kale to finish getting ready. "Gosh, aren't you supposed to be done quickest?" I teased him. He frowned and said,"Yes, but your smart, so you don't wear make up." I smiled, and noticed he hasn't looked at me. "Are you ok?" He nodded and kept staring at the mirror at himself. "Look, Kale, I know your handsome and all, but can you stop staring at yourself?" He chuckled and said,"I'm looking at you, silly." Oh I felt my cheeks redden and I giggled. He was already wearing his jeans, but he couldn't pick a shirt. I grabbed a black button up and started putting it on him. He smiled and kissed my temple. He put on his shoes and we walked out. We were going down the stairs when we heard screaming and crying.
