I just laid there, listening to Kale's heartbeat, while he slept. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. It sounded urgent, so I tried to get up. Then I realized Kale wasn't letting me go. "Kale." I whispered to him a couple times, but he didn't release. Finally, I just pushed him off the bed. He groaned and I walked over to the door. I opened it and there stood a guard. He had dark brown hair and gray eyes. "Your mother has escaped, Luna." He bowed and said,"We are searching the boat for her at this time, just stay in your room at this time please." He started looking me up and down. I also looked into his eyes and saw lust. I cleared my throat at him and put all of my power into my voice,"I understand I'm attractive, but stop checking me out. I am mated and I am your Luna. Show some respect." He growled, and I growled back. He laughed and said,"Your not a were, I could easily take you." I got scared then. He could tell because he started laughing. I heard a growl from right behind me. I looked and saw Kale standing there in his boxers. "Leave my mate am your Luna alone." The guard growled and said,"Make me." Kale looked at him, then me. "You might want to back up, babe. Don't want you I get hit." I didn't think twice about going to get comfortable on the floor and watch. They both shifted Kale into his golden wolf and the guard became a smaller black wolf. "Go Kale!" He made a sound which I guess was a laugh and easily lunged at the guard and killed him. I clapped my hands and Kale called some guards to get him. Then I remembered what he said and I paled. "We have to stay in the room, my mom escaped." He growled and said,"Lets get some breakfast." He pulled me into the kitchen and he started cooking while I started clearing the table. I came across a calendar and read the date. "Oh my gosh." He looked at me and looked down at the calendar. "What's wrong babe. I barely made out,"I missed my period." He looked a little nervous too. "I used protection just in case you weren't ready but it might have broke..." I stopped his babbling,"I want some, but I didn't want to have them while we're worrying about my mom." He smile and said,"I'll get someone to get a test from the clinic and I'm going to get you something to eat, what would you like?" I thought for a moment and screamed,"Grilled cheese!" He got the stuff out and made my sandwich. I got bored watching him cook so I decided to go jump on the bed. I hopped up there and started hopping. "I'm gonna have a baby! I'm gonna have a baby! This probably isn't very healthy for the baby if its in there. Why am I still doing it?" I flopped down on the bed laughing. Kale handed me my sandwich. "Jumping on the bed will have to hold off for three months if you have a baby." I looked at him crazy,"Don't you mean 9 months?" He shook his head,"No werewolf babies mature in three months." There was a knock on the door. Kale opened it and it was a kind looking lady and she held out a box of tests. "Thank you, I will take that." I said taking it from the lady and Kale and jogged to the bathroom. I heard them whispering, but I ignored it. I took the test and and started pacing. Finally, the time was up and I read the results. I came out and found Kale and the lady, that I found out was the doctor on the ship, waiting on me. They both looked at me excitedly and I took a deep breath. "I'm pregnant."
