Chapter 7
I opened it and it was Maria. I didn't growl yet. "What's up?" She frowned and said,"I just wanted to apologize, and I have something to tell you." I was worried now,"What is it?" She started to cry,"I told your mom where were at, I'm so sorry. I told her because I didn't like you and it was supposed to be funny. To me. And it's not, I'm sorry, you need to get out of here." I only stood there and just looked at her. "Kale." He just came out of the bathroom so he hasn't heard,"Yeah, babe?" "Is it against the Alpha code to hit her." He said,"No, but-" I punched her in the face, as soon as I said no. She fell with a shocked look on her face. I didn't stop there, I started screaming at her,"Why would you do that?! I'm your Luna, your supposed to help protect me! Even if I wasn't Luna, why would you give up a fellow pack mate, just for laughs?!" Kale was up and asked,"What's going on?" I told him,"She told my mom where I'm at. Do you remember the text. If she finds me, I'm dead!" His eyes turned black and he pulled me to him and said,"No." He glared at Maria over my head as he hugged me to him. We stood there for a moment then said,"We can leave someone temporarily in charge and leave for a while. Is that ok with you?" He looked down at me. I thought about it for a moment then nodded,"But, who will be in charge?" He smiled and said,"We should leave your dad and his mate in charge." I smiled to. "I think we should talk to him." All of a sudden, I heard my dad say,"Kale already asked me, and I will do if for you, Luna." I smiled and hugged him the best I could with Kale's arms still around me. Kale and I went to go pack, complaining the entire time. "We only got here like four days ago." He chuckled and finished his packing,"Werewolf speed." I stuck my tongue out at him, and threw a pillow in his face. Suddenly, I seen a blur flying every where and my bags were packed. Kale hugged me from behind and kissed my mark. I moaned a little and he chuckled. "I don't think I've laughed this much with a person before." He chuckled and said,"Me either." He grabbed our bags and pulled me out the door to his car. I figured its a mustang, I hadn't really paid attention, at first. He loaded our stuff and helped me in. "Where are we going?" He shut his door and said, "It's a surprise." I sighed,"But I don't like surprises." He chuckled at me and said,"Nope, it's a surprise." I gave up and said,"Fine, but can I take a nap?" He gave me a 'Are you really asking me that' look and said,"Duh." I smiled and held his hand. I woke up in the car, at a gas station, with Kale walking up with coffee and donuts. I smiled when he handed me my chocolate covered sprinkled donuts and my double chocolate latte with whip cream. We ate in silence, but when we were done, he kissed me good morning and started driving. He pulled up to a fancy hotel, and parked. "We're staying here?" He smiled at my reaction and nodded. He pulled me inside and gave the man at the desk his name,"Kale Thomson" he checked us in and gave us a rolly cart for our luggage. I fit it all on there, then made room for me,"Push the cart, Kale. On ward, to our room." He laughed, but started pushing. We made it into the elevator and turned to realized everyone was watching. When it shut, I whispered,"Humans usually don't realize that a 15 year old human and a 20 year old werewolf could hang out, much less date or be mates." He thought about it and shrugged. We finally made it to the 20th floor, which was the top, and we opened the door to our suite.
