Chapter 8

 I let out a sleepy groan, I opened to my eyes to see unfamiliar surroundings. I started to panic, but sudden remembered what happened last night. I looked to my left to not see Harry then I heard water running. I slowly got up out of bed and stretched my arms. I heard the water turned off and Harry walked out with clothes on. He saw I was up and said, "Good morning." I groaned at him and made my way to my truck to get some clothes. Harry laughed at me and said, "Not a morning person are we." I turned to Harry and gave him a death stare. Harry put his hands up in surrender. I smiled at him and made my way to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and slowly took off my shirt. I turned around to see my scars in the mirror. I accidently touch one and winced in pain.

After my shower, I got dressed and headed out the door. I opened the door and saw Harry looked at a letter. I asked him, "Harry, are you okay?" He looked up and said, "I got a letter from Gringotts. It says I have in inheritance. Also, you got a letter from Gringotts too." He handed me the letter and I opened it.

To Mrs. Rose P.

We at Gringotts would like to congratulate you on your inheritance.

We advise that you come to Gringotts at the earliest time to speak with your account manager and to conduct an inheritance test.

I am in shock because I have an inheritance and I am going to finally figure out who I am. "My letter says the same thing Harry. I think we should go now. I have a lot of questions" I said. Harry replied, "Sure, let's go." We walked through Diagon Alley until we reached the biggest building in the area, the Gringott's bank. We walked through the long hall until we heard someone call out Harry's and my name. We turned around to see Hermione running towards us. Harry and I looked at each other with shocked faces. What is Hermione doing here? That was the question running through our brains. "Did you guys get a letter?" Hermione asked us. Then suddenly Neville showed up and asked, "Did you guys get a letter too?" We all started to laugh at each other. I replied, "Yes, we did get a letter." Then Harry asked, "We are about to ask the goblin about it. Do you want to come with us?" Hermione and Neville both nodded their head, and we all made the way to the goblin.

We got up to the goblin and waited for him to finished with whatever he was doing at the time. The goblin after looked up at us and asked, "Hello, how can I help you today?" Harry was the first to speak and he said, "My friends and I got a letter from Griphook about our inheritance." The goblin nodded his head and said, "Follow me. I will take you guys to see Griphook." The goblin leaded us to an office and was about to leave before I said, "Thank you so much." The goblin was in shock for a moment then he went back to normal. He said, "No, thank you." I was confused from the goblin then Hermione explained how wizards do not that treat goblin with equality. I then asked, "Why not? I mean they are like us and they handled out money." Hermione did not know that answer, but she did agree with me. Neville then asked, "Is anyone going to knock on the door?" We all stayed silent and Neville then said, "I will do it." He knocked on the door and a voice from the other side said, "Come in." We opened the door to see Griphook at his desk. He looked at us and said, "I see you guys finally replied to our letter." "What letters?" We asked in unison. After we said that Griphook got angry and mumbled about a stupid old man. Then Griphook said, "Alright, lets take the test. Who is first?" "I will!" Hermione said. "Okay, prick your finger with this needle and the let drops fall on this piece of paper." Griphook said, moving a piece of paper toward Hermione. She did what she was told, and she watched as the blood was absorbed into the paper, words taking its place.
