Seokjin's POV
I woke up the next morning, ready to make the phone call to Detective Wang, but first, I had to make breakfast for everyone.
Nowadays, I didn't bother making anything big, me and the boys didn't have much of an appetite anymore and it was just too draining to even put in any effort to make something nice, scrambled eggs with toast was the one and only thing on the menu for breakfast today.
I looked at the time, it was almost 9am, which was different, I'm usually up before 8am, but I guess that's just another one of many things that changed within a week. The boys would usually be up around this time, especially Yoongi.
Speaking of Yoongi, I was still worried about him. As a mother, I knew him better than he knew himself and I knew when something was wrong with him. He feels like since he's the oldest, he has to be the more mature and brave one, which he definitely is, but sometimes I just want him to tell me when something is bothering him, so I can try to help him in some way.
Around 9:35, I heard the door of a Yoongi's bedroom open. I went to peek my head out of the doorway, looking at all four boys.
"Hey, good morning, I'm making eggs and toast." I said to all of them.
They all mumbled tired 'good morning' and went into the kitchen.
I went over to the stove and finished cooking, putting the eggs and toast on six plates. I put the plates on the table, then sat down with them. A few seconds later, I hear Jungkook coming down the stairs. Another few seconds go by and Jungkokk came to sit at the table.
"Good morning, bunny, did you sleep well?" I asked him.
"I slept as well as I could." He told me before take a bite of his eggs.
I nodded. "That's good." I said, gently ruffling his head and kissing the top of it gently before taking a few bites of my eggs. "After breakfast, I'm going to call and tell Detective Wang that only Jungkook will appear in court." I said, looking at everyone else.
"Actually, mom, I changed my mind, I'm gonna go to court with Jungkook." Yoongi spoke up.
Everyone, involving myself, looked surprised when he said that. I've learned over time that Yoongi rarely changes his mind about anything, once he makes up his mind about something, he doesn't change it for anyone or anything.
"Are you sure, Turtle? Because once I call Detective Wang and tell him, you cat change your mind again." I told him.
"I know, I'm sure about this." He said before looking at Jungkook. "I had a long time to think about it and I think it'll help with putting him back in that hell hole, where he belongs." He said.
"Well first, watch your language. And second, I'm proud that you're doing this." I said before looking at the rest of them. "No matter what, I'm proud of all of you. All of you are braver than you think, don't think for one second that you're not and don't let anyone else tell you that you're not brave either." I said, reaching over to ruffle Taehyung hair, since he was the closest to me. "I love all of you so much, more than any of you will ever understand, always know that." I said to them.
"W-W-We know, m-mom." Taehyung said softly.
I smiled and nodded, kissing his head before going back to eating my food.
