♡ I'm starting to like someone who isn't you.
"What do you want to order?" He peeked through the menu. She slowly put the menu down and looked at his shy doe eyes.
Their eyes locked for a minute while the waiter was awkwardly standing there the whole time, looking at them back and forth.
He cleared his throat and shifts his gaze somewhere except her while she uncomfortably shifts her gaze down the menu.
"Steak Frites." She said and the waiter nodded while taking notes.
"Hmm- Chicken Cordon Bleu Quesadillas." He looked up at the waiter as the waiter slumped his hands down and made his way away from them.
He shifted his gaze back to her. When he saw that she was already staring at him he gulped. 'She's pretty.' His admiration towards her sink when she asked him a question. "So Jungkook tell me about yourself?" She leans back onto the white futon chair.
"I-i love sunset, whenever I see that I feel so happy and relaxed. It always brings my happy memories back," he stammered at his first words but he successfully restrained himself to stutter in the next few words.
His statement made her eyebrow raise. "Oh.. Are you implying that the happy memories that brings back to you because of the sunset is your memories with your ex girlfriend?" She asked straightaway.
He gulped at her blunt question.
How can this girl be so straightforward?
Where does her confidence comes from? Maybe he could get that too.
"Hmm.." He let out a chuckle before continuing, "Kind of."
She curtly nodded her head which indicates that his answer satisfied her. He internally sighed but his assumption was wrong when another question was thrown against him.
"How many girlfriends did you had?" That question caught him off guard.
He never had a girlfriend, never in his life that he had a girlfriend.
He only loved one person and that is Kim Taehyung.
"I only loved one person." He stated and her eyes showed a glint of surprise but she held it like a pro.
"Okay, that's good to hear." She finally showed her beautiful smile.
After a few conversations that seemed like a million to him their food arrived.
She slowly showed her sweet and nice personality.
And now, he was looking up to the skies. Staring into nothing as the cold breeze slowly collides with his skin and softly brushes his hair.
The stars were shining so brightly unto the dark canvas of sky. The moon was full and grey, it was simple but enticing.
He slowly closes his eyes and starts to reminisce the moments they both shared.
They won't just stare at the sunset and have conversations, they would also spend the night together gazing the dark sky with held hands.
But a familiar voice inside his head played like a mantra. "Let's date again." She let out a chuckle, he gulped the lump on his throat when his gaze shifted on her soft lips.
"Sure, I would love to."
He flutters his eyes open before muttering this words, "I should forget about you Taehyung."
On the other side, there he is.
Kim Taehyung, busy at studying.
Books and notebooks were scattered in his desk. His eyes were drooping yet he keeps his eyes open.
He laid the book back down as a yawn emits from his mouth. He got up from his chair and slumps down the bed, not bothering to fix his mess on his desk.
He flutters his left eye open and leans side ward to turn the lamp off.
"Good Night, my love. Just a bit more and we'll be with each other again." He mutters as an image of Jungkook was plastered inside his brain before he fell into a deep slumber.
