"Where are you?" She glanced up to Hoseok before speaking. "I meet up with an old friend." She answered as she can her him sighing on the other line.
"Okay, where are you? I'm picking you up." She shook her head in disagreement even though he couldn't see her. "No. I'm fine." She said.
"Are you sure, love? Your words seem a bit cold." He stated and she can picture him pouting. "Kookie, I am so good. Talk to you later." She immediately hung up the call before shoving her phone into her bag.
"Kookie~" Hoseok teased while laughing. She only rolled her eyes at him.
They're always this playful. There is a child like energy that mirrors them. It's always a good time whenever they're with each other.
Though there are times that they forgot the time as it goes by so fast.
They may also forgot that there are people around them.
Their relationship was stable and full of content.
Almost perfect.
Perfect Imperfections.
"I'm still sulky that you didn't invite me to your wedding." Hoseok playfully rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.
She chuckled, "You've been saying that for a couple of times already!" She said.
"But we aren't a couple anymore." The light atmosphere seemed to be thickened because of what he said.
It was supposed to be a joke.
But who knew that he wasn't a good joker?
They both stared at each other awkwardly.
Hoseok gulped, "I'm sorry, it was a dumb joke." He looked down feeling embarrassed.
He just let a statement slip out of his tongue without thinking first. It makes him overthink the situation.
His mind is a mess.
"I- its okay. We didn't expect that to happen." She smiled at him reassuringly.
She is always sincere with her words.
Somehow made him internally sigh and his fatal thoughts subsided.
'If I have been faithful and loyal to you, I might be the one who holds you close. The one who takes care of you. However you do not deserve me. You deserve someone better.'
His eyes shifted into a sparkly ones, lips downturn but before she could see it he managed to pull up the brightest smile he can give her.
"What's your Kookie's real name?" His voice almost broke but he let out a laugh.
"Jeon Jungkook."
♡♡♡
"Let's hang out again." Hoseok snickered at his own statement.
He sounded so excited even though they just finished their meet up.
"Of course, Hoseok." She answered flashing a bright smile.
She stand up while holding her small lump, clutching her bag with the other hand. Hoseok rushed towards her and propped his arms for her to take.
She giggled lightly before sliding into his arms. They happily stride out of the cafe.
He opened the door beside the driver's seat and let her in before closing the door.
He rushed towards the driver's seat looking to his side, he smiled slightly and checked if she buckled up the seatbelt not forgetting his own.
They were laughing and giggling when he tried to peek and take a glance at her. Being whipped with this woman beside him who makes his heart beat fast.
He was left in awe as he kept on staring at her.
"Hoseok!"
The lad flinched when she scolded, still glaring at him. He looked in front and his eyes widen.
