Last time on Searching for Nee-chan! Lynn and Kin's lying client got something we personally believe they deserved. (Kin in background.) I hope the lying bitch got a katana up her ass! (Back to normal) Um... Okay then Kin. On with the story now!
Lynn p.o.v.
Kin and I are currently driving back our place and something is on my mind.
There was a witness. I can't stop my thoughts from wandering to far of places, imagining what they could be doing right now.
•The wonderfully terrifying world of Lynn's imagination•
They could be reporting us to they police right now... I have to go back and find them. I'll have to kill them! How should I do it? I think I should go with the classic backstab. No, no, no. Should I capture them and inject them with a needle? I've got it, I'll use a pen! Yes... First I'll stab their kidney. Yes! Mm... Then I'll trace the vain on their neck and right as I get to the jawline..! Mm. I love this feeling. Planning out exactly how it will happen. Seeing the blood spray, their bodies go limp, and a massive pool of red around them in my head before I even touch them... Oh, how I love this feeling... (Kin:Holy shit Lynn I know your sadistic but really?)•Kin P.O.V.•
As we enter our house I glance over at Lynn who has a toothy grin.
"Lynn-nee?" I ask timidly. Lynn looks up at me her grin never faltering. I notice her eyes have shaded over in light gray. It's as if she's not even there...
"Are you okay?" I query.
"..." Lynn is silent. I stare into her eyes that won't blink. For a glimpse of a second I felt like those eyes would creep into my soul and look through my thoughts and misshape my whole being, I ignore my thought and keep staring intently into her eyes.
I stand up and grab her hands and raise them up. Lynn's eyes revert to their normal red glossy selves and her grin fades away. "Kin? Why are you holding up my hands?" She asks, somewhat back to her normal self, but there's still a lingering sense of what was there before. "Please release me." She sighs.
I think it's gone now.
•Lynn P.O.V.•
When I snap out of my imagination I'm find myself looking into the eyes of a frightened Kin.
After a long game of 20 questions to try and get me to explain, a wave of depression wipes over Kin's face.
"I thought I'd lost you. I thought you could tell me anything. I trust you and worry about you." Kin-chan whispers through tears. "Have I put all my faith and understanding in the wrong place?" That hits me hard.
"Kin-chan..." I say, my voice cracking.
"Tell me what the hell that was!" Kin screams. I'm shocked. I knew she worried but I never thought this much. "Please tell me... I don't want the same thing as last time to happen."
"What- no no no Kin that's not what happened." I try to assure her that that would never happen again.
"LYNN. I refuse to bullshit around with something as serious as this! Do you not remember what happened?! Do you not remember me staying with you every minute of every day, just sitting there holding your hand? Do you not recall that I was the one that took care of you when that happened?!" Her voice was hoarse from yelling, but that was not the reason the last part she uttered was barely above a whisper. "Don't you remember when you kept smiling and protected me, even when you got hurt, up to the point where you fell into a depression and I almost lost you?"
I had forgotten about that... A few years ago, Kin was being bullied very badly. I always rushed in with a smile plastered on my face and took the pain for her. That smile stuck after a while, hiding the immense sadness that stood behind it. How could I have kept Kin safe in that state? I didn't. I fell into a depression and Kin took the beatings for me instead, staying by my side when the smile was showing but the tears were flowing. Right around then was the time that Kin and I started to become like we are today.
I pulled Kin into a tight embrace and held on for a very long time. "Kin-chan, I will never let that happen again." I explained my previous state to her and she seemed much more relieved when I finished.
"Thank Kami-Sama!" She said with a smile. "Wait, you said that there was a witness what are you talking about?" She looks at me puzzled. I sigh and shake my head. "Never mind Kin." I sneak a look at my phone 1:42AM. Oh god, we spent four hours on that cryfest...
"I'm tired Nee-chan. Let's go to bed." Kin yawns tiredly. "Yes I agree. Go get your pjs on okay?" I smile at her.
~Next Day~
I wake up to see Kin bouncing on the bed. "Ice cream! Ice cream!" She yells. I sweat drop and rub my head.
"Okay go get dressed, we'll go get ice cream after Soul Eater okay?" Kin nods and I head into my bathroom to get dressed. I decide to wear a short black and pink lace skirt with a grey tank top and my black leather jacket. I slip on my black combat boots and put on neon pink headphones.
We meet each other outside our bathrooms and walk downstairs and get on Netflix. I press resume on Soul Eater and we sit in front of the T.V. for a while. "I freaking love Chrona dude..." I say to Kin.
"Yeah." She replies, obviously just wanting to leave for ice cream. "Let's go." Kin gladly accepts and we skip to our S-class Mercedes Benz (Holla if you know which anime I'm thinking of. :3)
When we get to the ice cream shop there was a presence I recognized there. It's the witness. I turn towards the owner of the cowardly aura and glare. He must have noticed because he gulped visibly and warily smiled. I turned back to Kin and ordered two scoops of vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. We sat down at a booth outside and the mystery witness followed.
"Hi, I'm Conner. Have we met?" Mystery witness asks Kin. I continue to glare at him, he must be dense because he took a seat right in between us.
Mystery witness Conner, I now have two reasons to kill you.
1. You've seen what you you shouldn't have seen.
2. You're infiltrating my sibling circle.Mystery witness Conner, watch your back.
