godddd it's like the third time I shut this dumb alarm off.

wait.

THIRD TIME!?

I jumped out of bed and checked the time

 7:50!?

I'm majorly fucked.

nonono I don't want detention, or do I?

Nah, she might call my mom.

I rushed to get ready and have a snack before I left.

Alas I barely made it to the bus so I had to run to catch up. Thank god I had a nice bus driver that stopped. I thanked him and sat down breathing heavily. I checked the time on my watch it was 8 and the late bell would ring at 8:05 maybe I could make it?

I made it to school at 8:05 exactly since it was relatively close and nobody else was really on the bus since I was late so the bus didn't stop that much. 

I'm not late yet.

I ran through the doors of the school and down the hallway to where my english class was.

come on come on come onnnn

I barged through the door panting

"I'M HERE I'M NOT LATE NO DETENTION FOR ME WOOOOO"

I stood at the front of the class with my hands in the air, my hands as fists

Everyone was staring at me and I looked at Dritan and his face was red and he had his hand over his mouth trying not to laugh.

ohhh shit.

"Well thank you for announcing your presence Alicia but you are late, it's 8:07 and on top of that, you disrupted the class so actually, you do have detention." Ms.Jauregui said writing a detention slip for me

"What!?"

"see you tomorrow after school Ms.Reynolds, you may sit down now" she said handing me the pink slip of paper

"But tomorrow is Friday!"

"and?" she said shaking her head

What a load of Bull!

I sat down angrily and Dritan shot me a sympathetic look before going back to copying down his notes.

She may have a big ass but she also acts like one sometimes.

The rest of the day's mood was entirely ruined by Ms.Jauregui so the rest of the school day my friends tried to cheer me up but I wasn't having it. Sometimes teachers act like they're the shit but they really aren't it annoys the fuck out of me.

I went home with a gloomy attitude and my mom tried to ask me what was wrong  but I told her I was fine. Hopefully  Ms.Jauregui won't call her or I'm in deep shit.  I went to my room and finished my homework so I could just chill because it wasn't that hard.

I laid in bed thinking about today's events. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of me behaving in detention.

The next day I woke up early and ate a full breakfast. I also wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of proving I deserved the detention.

 Because I didn't.

In english I finished my work early out of spite and turned it in.

"wow good job, i'm very impressed Alicia" Ms.Jauregui said raising her eyebrows as she finished reading
