I held on to my book bag straps tightly as I approached my friends who were all talking and laughing together.
Dritan was the first to notice me, we met eyes and he gave me a reassuring smile.
Hey guys I said smiling weakly.
"Hey Alicia" Paige smiled at me
Jess repeated the same thing but Osséane stayed silent.
"Hey Osséane can I uh, talk to you" I said rubbing my neck and looking away.
"Sure" she said and we walked too the side and I saw Dritan, Paige, and Jess give me a thumbs up and smile, giving me more confidence.
"so what's up?" she said with her thick french accent
"I just wanted to say I'm really sorry I fought with you. I just got jealous" I said.
She laughed
"Jealous? for what?"
I breathed in and out.
"Weeeeellll, please don't freak out or judge me." I said pleading with my eyes as well
"I won't I promise" she assured me.
"I'mdatingMs.Jauregui" I said quickly and cringing.
it took her a moment to process it and then her eyes widened.
"what!?"

"that's amazing oh my god! congrats!" she said surprising me.
"Oh? thanks" I said laughing
"I'm totally jealous of you haha but I apologize I understand why you got mad and jealous I would be too. Thank you for telling me." she said smiling.
"does this mean we're okay?" I asked
"yes of course, and I'll lay off your girl" she said hugging me while we laughed.
"glad to see you too made up" Dritan said as he came up to us with jess and Paige smiling by his side as well
"yeah, communication solves everything" I said smiling at him
He smiled back knowing what I was referring to.
"lets go inside now, it's cold out here and we have class in 3 minutes" Paige said rubbing her arms to warm them up.
"oh you're right" I said checking the time on my watch.
"Let's go guys" Dritan said
"alright see ya'll at lunch" I said hugging Jess and Paige.
Dritan, Osséane, and I all walked into English together smiling and laughing .
It was back to normal.
I saw Ms.Jauregui smiling at us and I waved at her.
Osséane nudged me with her elbow and smirked at me
I rolled my eyes
"I did the exact same thing after she first told me !" Dritan said and we all laughed.
"Alright class we are going to start" Ms.Jauregui's raspy voice rang out.

"so you told her I'm guessing?" Lauren said as she held my hand while we walked down the street.
We had made sure to drive out of town so nobody would recognize us and I had told my mom I was meeting up with a friend.
"yeaaaah I did" I said kicking a rock
"annnnd? she said pushing for an answer
"And she understood and apologized too" I said sighing because I knew what was coming.
"See I told you!"
"oh god please shut up, I knew you would say that" I said pushing her gently
She laughed making me smile at her.
"What? why are you looking at me like that?" she said still smiling cutely.
"Like what?"
"Like the cutest little baby in the world" she said cupping my cheeks and using a baby voice
"shut uppppp" I said blushing.
"Did I mention you look so cute with your little collar and sweater and boots" she said adjusting my collar then kissing me.

fast forward 10 years, Alicia and Lauren are now married happily. They live together with Cleo. Alicia is a zoologist and Lauren still teaches English but at a different school. Nobody ever ended up finding out about their forbidden romance, well except for Alicia's best friends, and now it is no longer forbidden. They are thinking of adopting children as well and maybe even another dog.

Hey :') it's been so long since I last updated because Life has been hectic and also I have writers block. This is actually the last chapter of the story if you couldn't tell. I mean i'll admit the romance went too quick :') My next story won't be this fast I promise. Also i'll try to update frequently. It's also a Lauren story but it's x reader this time.
