I sighed as I sat on the bus alone staring out the window listening to my music. My friends went on the earlier bus all the time which my body was physically incapable of doing. So I was always alone on the way to school but they waited up for me at school thankfully.

After my amazing weekend I was kind of bummed to go back to school. I wished I could spend more time with Lauren. Not In the classroom.

As I arrived at school I yawned sleepily as I got off the bus. I didn't get much sleep last night, for some reason (hint hint Lauren's freaky texts) I just couldn't get to sleep until 2am.

I don't know how I was going to make it through the school day much less Ms.Jauregui's class without passing out from exhaustion and falling asleep.

"Wow you look like you got hit by a bus" Dritan laughed as I walked up to my friends.

"No more like you just got out of bed and threw on a hoodie and sweat pants over your pj's" Jess said adding on.

"Funny you say that Jess my good friend and companion. Because that's exactly what I did" I said.

Dritan and Jess laughed getting a kick out of my loopiness.

"Guys come on she's just tired" Paige said patting me on my shoulder.

"Thanks for defending me Paige I know you're always on my side" I smiled at her.

"Of course!" She said smiling back brightly.

"Alright then Reynolds, lets get to class shall we?" Dritan said ushering for me to walk ahead.

"Hey hey watch it! Don't step on my slides or I'll fall dingus!" I said trying not to trip.

As I walked into class with Dritan I yawned and collapsed in my seat and let out a long groan.

Dritan laughed but he stopped as Ms.Jauregui cleared her throat.

Clarissa had sat in the seat next to me today so she waved at me with a bright smile and I waved back, reciprocating the action.

Once she got the class' full attention she clapped her hands together and started talking.

"Okay so, it has come to my attention that I've been too nice to you guys. Many of you are slacking and I can assure you, your grades are dropping accordingly."

I kept my head laid on my hands but that made my eyes start to droop. I shook my head tried to focus on Ms.Jauregui's words.

"I wanted to be that laid back teacher but you guys have shown me that you can't handle that. From now on expect things to be grades much more stricter, more homework, stricter deadlines, and more detentions will be given out. I let you guys whisper sometimes during a lesson but some of you can't even handle that so those of you who behave, I'm sorry your classmates ruined that privilege for you. I didn't want to treat you guys like babies because you are about to be adult, you bought this upon yourselves" She said walking back and forth looking over the silent sulking class.

Ugh Ms.J was starting to sound like a typical teacher and I was over it. She might be my girlfriend but I still disliked this strict teacher version of her.

I meaaaan...

"You guys need to respect my authority and I will give my respect back to you. Please, don't make me have to call the dean or give you detention because the last thing I want to do is babysit you when I could be going home myself." She said sternly.
