Before heading home I dropped by to the same place where I had a chance to say goodbye. These buildings were the witness of my greatest pretension. As I walk through its premises I am reminded of the cowardice I have done through my youth.
"Hi love!" She came and kissed my cheeks.
"Hi Trish!" I said and wrapped my right arm around her waist.
Group of kids run towards her. Giggling and jumping around.
"So Kids I want you to meet, teacher Trisha's fiancé" She paused and looked at me. "Which means I will be married to him soon." She said with her joyful aura.
"EWWW!" The kids from pre-school reacted.
I can't blame them. When I was their age, I hate kisses and hugs. Which by the way my parents will do in front of us.
"Okay love, lunchtime are not yet over could you just wait for a little longer?" She asked.
"Yes. Take your time." I smiled as well.
I went around the campus where I used to spend most of my days. Sa sobrang gustong gusto ko ng school I even have advance classes even when others are taking catch-up classes. I just can't stay at home nakakaboring.
I kept on roaming the campus when I suddenly passed by the school's bulletin board.

I saw a poster of her.
Ahhh.. She has published an online book. Interesting.
I haven't heard from her in years. I wonder how she is nowadays.
"So you have seen it!" Someone familiar voice coming from my side.
"Hahahaha! Veronica! It's nice to see you again." I said and gave her a kiss on the cheeks. "So how is it being the over-all chairman for our reunion? Bet you busy." I greeted her.
"Aron Clarton!" She smiled. "I guess you would say that hangang ngayon ako parin and president."
"Bagay mo naman!" I cheered her.
"Not that your asking, but she'll not be coming." She said out of the blue.
"Who?" I asked ng parang walang kaalamalam kung sino tinutukoy niya.
"Lianne." She said.
Again, I lost my words. I don't know how you'll react to that. Not that I am expecting her to come. But I just felt like her presence on the event will somehow give me the closure that I needed before I would settle.

"Would you be my girlfriend?" I said and kneel towards her.
"Yes!" She jumped in joy. I hugged her and she kissed me.
The crowd went wild with their own cheers

Umupo ako sa gilid ng pool at ang nasa isip ko, nakakapagod na rin pala. I taught I was already brave enough to choose her. But my mind says no. I don't deserve her. I don't deserve to be the man she'll love if I can't be true to her.
