24-Numbers

6 0 0

Numbers fill my phone

Holding entire beings

Doors to new voices

Longing to be heard

Images that hardly represent all they are

Only a few pixels of their personality

Notes and dates tell little

Only alluding to true meanings

At one point, few people stayed with me

Leaving empty lists of contacts

But through some miracle

Entry after entry has been added

A dream I never thought would be fulfilled

By my self-conscious brain

Now I have so many names

I can hardly believe they all care about me

I've come so far

From that lonely girl in the corner

I can count on numerous people

Who all have my back

A crowd willing to catch my fall

All because of the bonds we share

It seems so strange

Yet so...perfect
