Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

We eventually started to walk to school, it was a Monday so we had so much to talk about including the 5 apologies from him i got on our routine 10min walk. The whole way to school we talked about my friend Hayden. He told me last night that he liked me and i didn't know if it was true or not. Hes one of the guys who you expect to date a more popular, prettier girl. It was a crazy feeling to have someone like me. I had never had a boyfriend before, i think thats because Danny is way to protective of me. Once at my friends 11th birthday the boys were playing truth or dare, he got given a dare to kiss me. He walked over and lent in and even at the young age of 10 Danny dove in and pushed the boy out of the way, knocking him to the ground. Danny followed and started to punch the boy in the face untill i started screaming "DANNY STOP". All he did was said in a low voice that was holding back so much anger "you back off or i will...I WILL hit you till u die."

From than on all boys stayed away from me when i was with Danny. So you could imagine Danny's reaction to this news. "Danny do you know that kid Hayden? ...Yeah well he told me last night he likes me. And i heard from Jessica who heard from Casey that hes gonna ask me out today". I said while keeping my eyes fixed on his waiting for the anger to build. He was watching the path infront when he process what i said and the anger rushed in, covering him with a stern expression.

"NALLA you can't date him." he said while snapping around to look me in the face.

"And why can't i Danny boy". I was a tad confused as to way he said that usually he says nothing to me but later i find out he's beaten the poor guy up.

" because eh... you eh... Hes a jerk and will only hurt you." It was strange his expression was more pain like. "Anyway you can do so much better Nalla."

"thank Danny but hes kinda nice to me and i think i might say yes." i smiled at the ground, thinking about having my first kiss and my first relationship it excited me.

After that the last few minutes of our walk were awkwardly quiet, like we both didnt know what to say. We arived at school to the normal hectic rush before homeroom. I had said goodbye to Danny and walked through the rush to my locker. I was unpacking my bag putting everything i didn't need into my locker when i heard behind me a familiar voice. Than i felt an ice cold finger touch my spine, the chills went down through my body and i turned around to see Hayden smiling. "Hey Adelaide how you doing?" He said lifting his head sounding like a gangster. "Haha Im good Hayden." This conversation almost sounded awkward.

Later that day at sport we were at gym class and i was sitting with Casey and her sister Jenny, after a hard work out, when i saw Danny in the corner of my eye. When i looked over straight away he waved and smiled. As i was raising my arm to wave back i felt a hand on my shoulder "hey Adelaide can we talk?" I stood up as a familiar hand held mine and directed me towards the tables. As we sat down he said "hey Adelaide i was wondering if you'd like to be my girlfriend." He started to smile and hold my hands as they were placed on the table in front of me. I looked over towards Danny who was watch with a concerned and upset face which quickly changed when he realise i was looking. I turned back to Hayden and said flashing through the best way to say this and concluded with the simplest one, "i would love to be your girlfriend". I started to smile as we stood up to walk back when all his mated came out and started patting him on the back and bringing him in for hugs. Since it became awkward i walked over to Danny and tried to tell him the news. "Um hey... Danny it happened he asked me out." She stood up and brought me into a soft hug way to quickly to see his facial expression. When he hugged me it felt like he didn't really want to talk to me. I couldn't figure out why but came to the conclusion he was just his normal protective self.

Okay guys that was a short confusing second chapter i promise i will try harder in the next one. Chapter 3 will be in Danny's perspective skipping through the events that have happened so far :) Be kind to one another xoxo
