Chapter 5: (Adelaide POV) continuing from last chapter.

After he completely flattered me with some amazing bright purple weeds. Gosh every time i thought of that i crack up. It was a long walk home filled with absolute utter silence. I don't understand i tried so hard to bring up conversation. I even tried to talk about his new xbox games which if i bring up, he rarely shuts up about after i asked him the dreaded question. All he seemed to say was "ya sure thing Adelaide" which for one he never uses my full name unless I'm in trouble. Or just the occasional input into my crazy subjects.

The whole walk home was the awkwardest our friendship has ever been. We always have something to say to each other if its about how someones fence colour has changed or how the world is set to die within the next few months. The worst part was when i went to hold his hand as we crossed the road he didn't hold back. Okay i know sounds stupid but we have always held hands across the road even if its a side street its like out thing.

We arrived at my house seeings as its the first in our colder sack. "Ill talk to you tonight ay Simba?" I said with a touch of doubt in my voice he's really angry at me for some reason but what could it be? I don't remember a fight starting between us...

"Umm... Maybe i think i have hockey training tonight". Wow that was a smack in the face. How could be blow me off like that.

"Oh okay well love ya forever and always Simba". I walked closer ready for a tight squeeze, we both came in and hugged for a long while actually, we both didn't wont to let go. I had my arms around his neck seeings as he's only a little taller than me, he had his arms rapped around my waist holding me tight. Oh how i missed this hug today. "Alright i better go bye." I said letting go of the most perfect hug in the world and than started walking towards my front door passing the tin shed that will forever creep the hell outta me. "Forever and always." A sweet comforting voices yelled as i held my hand out to turn the gold door knob. I turned my head looking over my shoulder to see him waving with a innocent boy band smile on his face.

After i had finished all my normal stack of homework. I walked down stairs to the open plan living, dining and kitchen lower story where i heard my parents talking about their days at work and how my sister Sadie was sent to the principals office today, for no not being in trouble as i know you all think but for getting a ducks award for the year. Great another thing they are more proud of her for.

I walked into the kitchen to get looks from my parents. Almost like they were confused as to why i was standing there. "Darling why are you home its 4.40pm." "Oh i caught bus home with Danny. To tired after gym to walk." I said with a sigh of relief thinking i almost forgot an important event within my Monday afternoon. "So how was your day sport?" Dad said while placing his cup of full strength coffee on the island table. "It was really great." I said as i stepped into the walk in cupboard. "And whys that Adelaide?" Mum asked intriguingly. I grabbed a nut bar from the back shelf and started to walk towards the sliding doors standing just behind the doors as i said " I have a boyfriend". When i said that the mouths of both my parents dropped to the floor as i walked off towards the stairs i could hear them following so i started to walk fast to beat them up the stairs before i had to talk about the awkward topic of first boyfriends.

"ADELAIDE STOP". Mum yelled from the dining room "WE NEED TO TALK." Dad yelled from the closer distance of the living room of course he almost ran to catch up to me. The two of them almost finished each others sentences. "Guys later i have homework." I said smiling to myself. The worry in their voices what em i coming across as a sl*t or something like I'm not gonna sleep with him its been like 4 hours now. Those two crack me up. After i got to my room i sat on my bed getting out my newly bought iPad 3. And turned on instant messenger. Nobody uses this anymore except Danny and Casey its like our thing on here. "Hey beautiful girly hows the bf" Casey's chat box pops up straight away. She was obviously waiting for me to come on. "He's great havnt spoken to him since school though it got a bit awkward i guess, do you think its weird he asked me, out of all girls at the school like I'm not usually his type Cassie?" I wrote not really wanted her to respond to that question.

"Well that sucks i wanted all the gossip. Haha. Well i think he might truly like you, but i guess time will only show his truthfulness." She said as i sat in surprise she came up with good advice. "Thanks Cassie your right. Look i gtg Hayden's calling me. Love ya beautiful." I said and logged off grabbing my iPhone from my dresser.

"Hey baby girl" he chirped."hey" i said awkwardly. "Hey you wanna come back to mine wednesday?" I didn't know what to say from that does that mean he wants 'alone time' ahh god dammit "yea sure ill be there in a heart beat". I heard him pull away from the phone "HELL YEA" he said but all to loud. "Whoops i was meant to hide that Adel's."

"Hey i got to go Adel's sexy shower time."

"alright night buddy." I said thinking of the hot warm water running of his perfectly sculptured body. I hung up after he said "bye my stunning Girlfriend".

I'd gotten ready for bed before hearing a tweet noise from my laptop knowing it was him, the true butterfly king. The only boy to give me painful butterflies. We talked all night after he apologised for his quietness he said he had a headache that was unbearable.

We ended up falling asleep without any goodbyes still with the chats open. And that night i dreamt of him... My Simba..
