Chapter 26

Annie's POV:

Friday march 25 7:15 am
School.
The definition of school is learning knowledge that we would never need to know in college.
Or in my dictionary at least.
Johnny and Carson left last night after getting in trouble by our principal also barging in.
Hayden and i just watched movies last night and talked.
I am now getting ready for school.
I was feeling super lazy today so i just changed into a hoodie and shorts.
I pulled my hair into a ponytail and barely did my makeup.
I walked out the bathroom and saw Hayden waiting.
He looked up from his phone and stared at me.
A- do i look that bad?
H- no! you look gorgeous and adorable.
My hoodie went down to my knees so you couldn't even tell i was wearing shorts.
A- shut up.
He laughed and we left for school.
As we were walking down the hall i saw Asher running after me.
Ash- hey annie!
He said while panting.
I laughed at him.
I can see Hayden rolling his eyes.
A- Hayden i will see you downstairs save me a spot in class just in case i'm late.
H: okay.
He kissed my cheek and i rolled my eyes and laughed at him.
He ran to the lobby and i stayed to talk to Asher.
Ash- wait are y'all dating?
A- oh no! it's complicated.
Ash- so would it be bad if i asked you to go on a date with me? we can just hang out in my dorm and watch movies since we kinda can't do anything else.
He said laughing.
A- uh sure why not
Ash- okay great i will see you tonight around 7?
A- yeah before curfew ends my friends and i got caught last night for being out after curfew.
Ash-okay i will see you later
He left and the bell rang.
Shit.
I ran to class hoping i wouldn't be too late.
I walked in and saw everyone staring at me.
T(eacher): Annie one more tardy and you will get another consequence please sit down.
I shook my head and saw a seat next to Hayden.
I put my stuff down and sat next to Hayden.
He whispered to me.
H- what did Asher want to talk about?
A- nothing.
I knew Hayden would freak out if i told him that i was going on a date with Asher.
H- oh.
He was definitely suspicious not gonna lie but i need to meet more people and this is my time to do.
-6:30pm-
I was finishing up my makeup for my date
Hayden has been asking questions the whole time
Questions like:
Where are you going?
Why are you getting ready?
What are you doing?
Are you going on a date?
Are you going to the girls dorm?
I rolled my eyes and ignored him every time he asked
The time now read 6:53
I was putting on shoes when Hayden stopped me
H- Annie where are you going?
A- no where don't worry about it Hayden
I was walking to the door but he beat me to it and lightly put his hand on my chest pushing me away
A- Hayden
H- Annie tell me where you are going
A- Hayden you are not my dad
I pushed him out of the way and went to Asher's dorm
