When we last saw them, the Dazzlings, were sirens who charmed the humans at Canterlot high and fed off their negative energy until, the Rainbooms destroyed their magical pendants that stored their power, broke the spell the Dazzlings had cast, and ruined their beautiful singing voice.

Now the Dazzlings sit outside an apartment next to an old mattress and a dumpster. They each share the mattress and wait for someone to throw food out the window to eat and if no luck they look in the dumpster. Sometimes they go out into the streets and sing to get money, but they never get any. Adagio, lead singer of the dazzlings, sat on the old mattress.

"Aria, have you seen Sonata?" Adagio said in a firm manner.

Aria, one of the backup vocals of the Dazzlings, pulled one of her pony tails and started to comb through it with her fingers, "Yeah, She went singing for money, like she thinks she might get something this time."

"Well can you go get her!? It looks like that time of the day is coming." Adagio looked around in suspicion.

Aria looked around as well. She started to walk in the direction of where Sonata would be.

She saw her sitting on the cold pavement with a box and a sign that said "save the meatless tacos". She had her head down in her lap.

"what's wrong?" Aria sat down with Sonata.

"I don't want to talk about it" Sonata, the other backup vocals for the dazzlings, muffled.

"I can't understand what you're saying with your head down." Aria said while crossing her arms.

Sonata picked her head up from her lap.

"Oh my gosh! Sonata what happened?!" Aria shot up from the pavement with concern.

Sonata had a swollen black eye that oozed puss and tears. she also had cuts on her knuckles.

"I was trying to get us money other than singing, it was working and I had $15 dollars, but someone tried to steal it and I tried to defend myself but he knocked me out and stole all the money." She cried

Aria picked her up. "Lets go, I don't want you getting hurt even more."
