"Rise and shine!" said Mrs Anne as she threw the curtains letting the sun in and reflecting on Jack's face.
His always serious face squeezed a bit, and he woke.
"Good morning mom!" Jack said.
''Good morning honey" Mrs Anne replied. "It's already noon and you're still asleep? Go wash and get dressed" She added while leaving Jack's room.
Jack felt quite comfortable from the popping sounds while he stretched.
He went to the bathroom, gaggled, washed his face alone and arranged his hair; sweeping it to the right part of his head barely covering his eye.
Jack walked back into his room, he layed on the bed staring at the ceiling and thought.
He always got alot scanning through his mind; mostly the thought of getting his convicted father; Mr Paul Dexter released from jail.
The thought of Maya; his girlfriend, popped up and he gave a gentle smile.
Jack is 6 feet and almost 2 inches tall. Light skinned with dark curly hair which he liked to shove to his right.
He has dark eyes and his pointed nose fitted properly.
He lived with his mother in the mansion completed by his father 5 years ago.
A month after moving into the mansion, Mr Dexter was charged with a 1st degree murder and drug trafficking by the Postville Police Department PPD.
The dread of that evening was unbearable; Mrs Anne wept bitterly as she tried to cover Jack's sleepy face from seeing how his father was handcuffed and dragged away by the police.
Few hours before Mr Dexter was arrested, Jack practiced a 3 step back flip in an open soccer field; with each flip advancing in height.
He almost got it just before he had a sharp blow to his head on one of the hurdles he set to flip over.
"Oh geez, he's bleeding!"
"Someone call an ambulance!" Morgan yelled.
Morgan was his closest friend, his round and cheeky face gave him the innocent look.
Like his height his hair was shorter than Jack's.Morgan was funny, at times he looked clumsy.
Morgan knew how to use words to get on people.
He was a bit of coward in standing up for himself mostly against bullies on the streets.Jack always stood up for him or resolved peacefully through dialogue.
Someone called Jack's parents instead and was hurried to their home.
Jack's mom treated him with a first aid kit.Jack's mom was quite gorgeous, tall, fair and blonde.
She kept herself healthy and fit.She always beckoned on the husband to join her in morning workouts. Of course she was healthy and fit.
She graduated as a medical doctor when Jack was 10 and since her husband was arrested she did everything she could to provide and take good care of Jack.
Jack's injury from the field was a bit severe, but Mrs Anne assured Morgan he was fine and just needed enough sleep and rest.
"Why did you even let him do that"? Mrs Anne asked Morgan.
"I told him to stop, but you know your son..." Morgan shrugged."Yeah right, anyway he'll be okay" Mrs Anne said.
"Okay Mrs Anne, I gotta go see my parents, they really need me." Morgan said.
