Panick filled the air in the conference hall.
It looked as if the atmosphere was slowing down and gradually closing in on Maya.
The constant red light fluctuations and buzzes which clearly meant danger was heating up to everyone but most of them were confounded.
"What is it Maya?". An acting Director asked.
"They've put everywhere on stage 3 emergency I suppose..." Maya replied bracing herself.
"Oh no...!"
"Wait..."
"What's stage 3 emergency?" He asked clumsily.
"Was I the only one who read the orientation manual?"
"Uhhhmm... Yeah". The acting director quivered clumsier.
"It's really bad, everyone needs to evacuate the building immediately".
Just then a voice from the speakers asked everyone in the Industry to evacuate the building to safety.
It was clearly Sato's voice.
Maya tried to rally the ladies out. Security guards briskly escorted Prof Kubo out.
The panic stirred and the industry was in pandemonium.
A massive thudding worsened the current situation in the conference hall.
A helicopter had landed on the roof of the Apex building of Talltab Industry.
The conference hall which is situated on the last floor felt the impact.
"Bingo!" The IT guy mouthed almost inaudibly.
"The detonator is here" he added hysterically.
"What is it?"
"People are gonna die and you too" Sato yelled furiously.
"Take him! Let's move out of here immediately".
Jack really accelerated as he sighted police vans swerving into Talltab.
The whole vicinity within a mile radius was in panic.
The siren noises seemed to have initiated the panics.
"Watch out!" Morgan yelled as Jack came to an abrupt stop near a van.
Jack got out of the jeep immediately and browsed the area.
The police were already putting up barricades.
Jack sighted Adam swinging into the window on the last floor of Talltab.
Before the police could secure a perimeter round the industry, Jack snuck his way in.
Luckily he could dig his way through the crowd fleeing out of the company.
He approached an elevator and met Maya leading people out when the doors opened.
"Jack!"
Where are you going?"
Jack grasped Maya on her shoulders with his both arms;
"Get everyone you can and yourself to safety. Morgan should be in the jeep outside the industry".
"Okay..."
"I love you!" She said melancholically.
"I love you too!" Jack said releasing the kiss.
The romance was rapid, acknowledging the current situation.
Jack got to the board room and pushed the button. The doors separated.
He beheld Adam and Owen fidgeting with a device. Jack glanced at it and was relieved it didn't look like a bomb at least.
