"I keep telling you, but you won't listen". Jack said restlessly.

"Not again Jack". Maya retorted.

"Maybe you don't seem to realize that your life could possibly be at risk". Jack said as he successfully overtook a slow jeep.

"Why would my life be at risk?" Maya asked.

"Hellooo! Two unexplainable deaths of board members in a week". Jack raised his brow.

"What do you mean unexplainable?

Sasha committed suicide and Elena had an accident". Maya retorted.

"Accident huh? People fall from cliffs into oceans without a scratch, but Elena fell in a pool and drowned".

"A very shallow pool for that matter". Jack smirked as he made a left turn.

"She's a short woman Jack, and she just moved into that house. Am sure she didn't master the art of swimming".

"Secondly, she was dressed for work not in a bikini" Maya said.

"Oh right!" Jack scoffed.

"And how do you know the pool is shallow?" Maya asked.

"Nothing, I'm... I'm psychic". Jack stuttered and looked away.

"Oh my God Jack, you went to her house didn't you? And don't lie to me because I know you went there". Maya asked sternly.

"Yes, but I didn't cross the perimeter containment barrier" Jack said softly.

"Of course you can't cross".

"Jack this is getting out of control. You might even get into trouble. Please stay away. Maybe I told you a little bit too much about the board members". Maya tucked her bag.

"Could you slow down a little, you're driving too fast. I wouldn't want you to investigate our corpse too". Maya smirked.

"Really babe? You know you've been giving me attitude lately" Jack decelerated.

"I'm sorry, but maybe a bit of attitude is what you need to stop this". Maya said.

They kept arguing till they got to Talltab Industry.

Jack had difficulty in deciding if to tell Maya about the experience with the Talltab truck and it's driver; already, he had stalked too much.

Maya alighted from the car. "Bye, come pick me up".

"When?" Jack asked.

"I'm not sure, but I'll call you". Maya shut the door.

"Wai.. She didn't even kiss me".
"She must be really mad at me". Jack muttered.

Jack drove to the trash can again.

He alighted and walked around the area and noticed an abandoned warehouse.
He walked into the warehouse.

He prowled about the area and heard chatters as he drew closer.

Jack eavesdropped at their conversation; there were only two people.

"Good evening gentlemen! I just wanna talk, or we could do this the old way". Jack said with his hands in his pocket.

"Drop the gun idiot, it's not loaded" Jack said to one of them who tried to pick a pistol.

"How did he know that?" One of them asked softly.

"He must've been listening to us before he popped up". The other replied.
