Angel's P.O.V.

"What? Sorry, I kinda zoned out there for a minute. What did you say?", I say coming out of my daydream of feasting on sugarcoated cookie nuggets... mmmmm

Focus, Angel! Focus!

Ms. Butterfly-killer herself smiles with annoyance as she closes her eyes, takes a deep breath through her oversized nostrils, lets it out, and reopened her eyes trying to maintain patience.

"I said that the school board and I have been looking at your grades, and I must say...", She starts with me hanging on her every word. Is it possible to have a heart attack at this age?! I'm gonna google that later.

"That your grades are outstanding! I know that you have wanted to be a part of the tutoring program for a while...and...we want to you to join! We want you to tutor some of our students that are, *cough*, not living up to what we know they can achieve.", she pauses a moment worrying my bones....ok no that sounds weird...

"Anyway, we are also offering you extra credit if you do accept. You can say no, but then you will lose all chances of extra credit. This is a one time offer."

I probably look like a cross between the Cheshire Cat and an elf on Christmas that just got a raise.

Before I have time to to take in what is happening, I grab her hand and shake it vigorously...I hope I don't give her whiplash... eh, actually I don't care. She kills butterflies for goodness sakes!

I can't believe that I can get this extra credit! This is perfect! It will give me the extra boost I need to get my A in health to an A+! And that will help me get a scholarship to Yale University!!! I here that their biology and veterinary department is amazing.

I've been looking for a way to get extra credit for months! Finally, took them long enough...pfft.

"Are you kidding me?! Yes!!!....I mean uhhh...haha, sorry. - Sure. It would be my pleasure."

Her eyes gleam and she responds with words that tear my world apart. "Lovely, now, Ace will meet you after school for his sessions...you will need to find a suitable schedule for the two of you, so I shall leave you to it."

"I'm sorry but he is suffering tremendously in calculus and chemistry. He will need to be tutored every Monday through Friday. I did not expect you to be so negative towards this. But if you really don't want the extra credi-"

"No, No, no, no, noooo. I definitely want the extra credit, but can't I please tutor anyone else? Anyone?", I plead. I am this close to dropping down on my knees, clinging to her leg, and threatening to not let go until she changes her mind...like the mature adult that I am....

The Evil Dark Fairy looks me in the eye and says the words of...uh, doom? Yeah. THE WORDS OF DOOOOOM!!!!! "I am terribly sorry, but no. A student of your intelligence should not bother to tutor another of whom is in a lower class. Should seize the opportunity of a challenge. Tutor for the same class that you are taking! It will really improve your one A to an A+ so you know that "certain" colleges will enjoy seeing that on your resume..."

Wow.

She is literally bribing me tutor some failing delinquent with college.....

That's low...even for an Evil Dark Fairy, such as herself. She knows just how much I reeeaaally want to get into Yale and is using that knowledge to bribe into tutoring people..... but why? I mean unless all of the others tutoring students have dropped out of the program then-

"I'll be honest with you. We really need more people to join our program. Nearly everyone has dropped out."

Well hit me with a hash brown and call me Ronald. I just found McDonalds.

".......Sooo, I will get my extra cred if I agree to tutor him?", I ask with as much self control as I can muster. I swear, when I get out of here-

The Evil One's voice beaks through my thoughts. "Yes, yes. That is correct...and um", she pauses to think her words over; almost as if to make sure that what she is about to say is the right thing to say. "Hmmmm, ok. We will even allow you to have your last period class off every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while still receiving the credit for that class.", She finishes and I feel like I could smash through a brick wall with happiness. Is she serious?!

"Of course those free periods must be spent tutoring Ace. We still expect you to bee doing something productive, so we also expect you to be mature about it and meet with him somewhere on the grounds. There you should work on the properties that you will be tutoring him."

Great. Just great. I feel like I've just contracted Ebola....like bruh.
