Game Day

Kate's Pov

Today it was a very important game the uswnt had their 1st match on the world cup. the team was very ready for the game and so was I mom and momma had worked very hard to come here and so was everyone else.That morning I got up from bed and got ready for the game I wore some jeans mom's number 13 jersey I tooks momma's hoddie and walked out of the room everyone was already at breakfast I sat next to my mom and momma 

"You guys ready?" I asked while I ate my food 

"Yeah ofcourse"mom said

"I am sure you guys will win" I said "Mom what about me with who am I watching the game?" I asked after what happened last game I was still a little scared of a huge stadium.

"You will be with my parents" mom said

Great Grandma and Grandpa morgan I know I should be exicted but things with them are really weird after all they were the ones who have me away and took me away from mom for a very long time and their reason was mom was too young and she had a schoolarship

"I am not hungry anymore" I got up and went back to mom's room.

Alex's Pov

I called my parents and Kelley's Parents to join us on our 1st game and ofcourse to spend some time with kate even tho she might hate them a little bit for what they did to her but I hope they would get along. Once I told her the news she just said she wasen't hungry anymore and went upstairs.

"What is wrong with her a few days ago she was her happy self and now she is just mad and tired and sad most of the time" Ashlyn said

"guys she has been trought a lot more than we can imagine being kidnapped by her crazy foster mom almost killed on a car accident lossing her sister then finding her mother dealing with a new school she needs a break from all of that" Kelley said "and on top of it she is just being pressured to be a person people want her to be  not who she really is" 

we ate in silence after that Jill called us that the bus was leaving in 10 minutes Kelley got all of our stuff in the bus and I went to get kate. When I arrived at her room I could tell she has been crying and I did not ask why she was crying I knew already I just went up to her and wrapped my arms around her

"I am sorry Kate I should have told you sooner" I said

"Is just mom I don't think I can look at them they took me away from you" she said "and maybe they don't even know what happened to me in a few months" 

"Kate you got to show them the real you baby the real you is a happy girl who always makes us laugh and smile the one who is very strong and makes our lives better" I smiled

"Thanks mom"

"Any time now lets go before the bus leaves us" I smiled and we walked downstairs

Once we arrived to the stadium Kate went with Kelley's Parents and they would meet my parents later Kelley grabbed my hand and we walked into the locker room 

"she is going to be okay" she told me and kissed my hand

I smiled "Yes now come one we have to go warm up" I kissed her and got ready

when we were on the field I took a minute too look up were kate was talking with kelley's parents

"Well they get along pretty well" Kelley said and I nod

Kate's Pov

Once we got off the bus both mom and momma went to the locker room a security guard took me were Kelley's Parents were I did not see mom's parents yet. I walked over to them Good thing Erin was with them and I belive mommas bother was with them too the four of them were all talking and having a drink. 

"Hi aunt  Erin" I smiled and waved at her 

"and there she is" she smiled "Mom dad and jerry this is Kate kelley's dauther" to my surprise they all looked shocked my best guess was that mom never told them about me she might have forgotten that little detail

"Hi" I said 

"Wait hold on Kelley has a kid" Jerry asked me

"Is a long story" I said

"well we still have a little time before the game starts to tell us" gandma asked me

"well I am Alex Morgan dauther biologically but by law Kelley is my mom as well both of them are my moms" I smiled "and yeah that is the short version to the story"

"oh and she goes to the school I work at" Erin said 

"Yeah that too" I smiled and sat down next to momma's mom and dad 

"you really look like alex morgan just younger" she said

"Yeah I get that a lot" I said

"Well now that I have a grandpa maybe when we are back in utah we can go for a walk on the mountains" he smiled

"or we can go camping" Jerry said 

"and swimming" Erin said

and then it came back that feeling that made me feel like I belong well that feeling did not last long Before the game started mom's parents came they got along with Kelley's parents I said hi to them but still was a very awkward situation.

"So you are kate right" Pamela ask me (alex's mom)

"Um yeah that's me" I said 

"do you hate us kid?" she asked me again

"Maybe I don't know probably not part of me does but the other part does not hate you"

after that we stop speaking to each other for the rest of the game. It started like normal we had to stand up for the anthem for both teams and soon enought the game started. The USWNT had their night they scored 13 goals and mom had scored 5 goals.

Alex's Pov

we were all so ready for the world cup we were all exicted to go on the field and play when the whisle finally blew we all just wanted to score and we did some of my teammates got their first world cup goal and that is something we all were happy and we all celebrated that the fact that we are one team. At the end of the first half we were winning by 8 to 0 during that time we were in the locker room I called Kate

K:Hey mom good job 

A:Thanks Sweetie how are you doing?

K:I am fine

A:mhm no you are not

K:yeah you are right your mom asked me If I hate her

A:What did you tell her

K:I told her that I wasen't sure I just told her part me hated her and the other part dosen't but I have no idea

A:Give her chance kate

K:Fine mom I will

A:Okay well I got to get back in the field love you kate

K:love you mom keep up the good work.

I went back in the field for the last 45 minutes left we had to play the game went very good for us we won 13 nothing and that was something we were going to celebrate

"you really scored tonight babe" Kelley told me while we still were on the field

"mhm yeah and you might score as well tonight" I smirked and walked to the locker room

Jill was very happy with us for what we did and all of the team was happy we had a great game and I just wanted to celebrate with my family.
