Nishinoya and I decided to meet up near the entrance where the festival would be held. As I walked near at my destination, I took a look around my surroundings.
The stores and stalls were lined up on the sides, colorful and bright lanterns were hang all over the place, and people in colorful yukata and casual wear also added to the venue's beauty.
The night sky was dark. There was no stars nor clouds that were visible in the darkness of the night. The small round moon shone quite weakly above. The sky seemed empty.
I wore a simple pastel blue sweater that was a bit over sized and its hem was tucked in inside a blue checkered skirt that reached just above my knees. I wore black doll shoes and long white socks that reached my shins.
I did nothing to my hair, I just simply put on a hair clip that sweeps the bangs off my forehead.
As I arrived at the meeting spot, I found Nishinoya looking at his wrist watch. He wore a white turtleneck that was overlapped with a blue denim jacket. He also wore dark grey jeans and blue sneakers.
He let his hair down which made him looked cool and attractive. It was kind of a nostalgic sight because the first time we met when we were kids, he had his hair like that.
He looked... really cute. I could feel my cheeks warming up a bit.
I walked closer to him. He finally noticed me as he looked up and his whole face lit up. His lips curving up, his eyes sparkling, and his cheeks tainted pink due to excitement. "Sakura-chan!"
"Hi Nishinoya-kun." I giggled a little. "You look really cute tonight!"
"Thanks. You're looking cool." I smiled as I nodded my head.
He suddenly pouted as he slightly slumped his shoulders. "I was actually expecting you wearing a yukata tonight though..."
"Oh, I don't own any yukata." I said. His face was suddenly filled with so much shock as he had his mouth hanging wide open. "Eh?! Why is that?! Girls are suppose to own at least one yukata!"
"Well, I did have a yukata. Just now, well I outgrew them already so I couldn't wear them anymore." I explained.
"Oh, I see." his face seemed to brighten up as he chuckled.
