Chapter 3

 Hey huys sorry for the late update i have been super busy so this might be a small one. also sorry if the word Have or Haves comes up instead of Jace this was done on my ipod (hate spell check sometimes)

Clary~

Clary was lying on Simons couch wondering how she will ever be okay, for Jace was her life and even though that sounds so cheesy it was true, he made her laugh, smile and feel special and no boy had ever made her feel special before. But while Clary was in her own thoughts the sound of Simon laugh startled her, she looked up at him seeing him with a phone in hand. 
"what girls making you laugh Si?" she asked curiously trying to get her mind of Jace. 
"bec" he didn't look up
"you mean your sister" she sat up, Clary had heard that Simon went to talk to her and that she was fine and it made her smile that Simon still had a family member that will help him through it. 
"well who else do you know with her name?" he looked up at her. 
Clary thought for a moment "no one"
"I rest my case"
"you should invite her over for brunch or something i really miss seeing her and I need to get my mind off... You know." 
"Yhea I'll ask" he looked back down and began to text "I'm going to go get a drink" he got up and walked off. Clary knew what drink he was getting and now that she was used to it she really didn't care. So she laid back down waiting for Simon to come back. 

Simon~

As simon got up to get his "drink" he heard a knock on the door and he didn't believe anyone was coming over this early in the morning but he went to the door and to his surprise he said the golden boy Jace. 
"hey Simon, I was wondering if Clary was here?" he asked and not with his usual confidence while poking his head around Simon to see if he could see her. 
"Yhea she is" he looked up hopefully "but I don't know if you should see her"
Jace looked back down to the floor "you mean she doesn't want to talk to me?"
"oh no don't get me wrong that's the only thing she wants to do right now, but I think you should give her a day then come back"
"no I'm here now so" he began to walk into the apartment but Simon stopped him with his strength "you don't want to mess with me now blood sucker I'm not in mood"
"i forgot the day ended in y" Simon mocked "now leave"
"you really think you can beat me?" Jace raised an eyebrow "not the day to get overly confident"
"maybe if you are really as broken as I think you are"
"Simon whose at the door" Simon turned around to see clary standing behind him looking at Jace a tears began to form in her black eyes.  
"Clary" Jace said he began for her but Simon stopped him again, Jace just looked up at him, and Simon was shocked that Jace was looking defeated. "Clary I love you please"
"I...I can't" she whispered 
"yes you can Clary I will never be afraid of you"
"I know it's just I'm more afraid of me" she admitted
Before anything else could be said Simon spoke in "how about Jace comes back tonight and give Clary some time to think how's that?" they both nodded and Jace turned around and left. 
"Come on Clary" Simon lead her back into the lounge and went to check his phone. "good news Clary, Bec's coming around at 11"

Alec~ (IF YOU HAVENT READ CLOCKWORK PRINCE there is a spoiler so sorry if you haven't)

Alec ran as fast as he could to see Magnus for he couldn't stand another day without him he ran to the door and pressed the bell 
"hello" Magnus said
"it's Alec" he said 
"come on up" was it just him or did that have no emotion but he ran up the stairs and straight into the apartment and Alec saw a girl with brown hair standing in front of him. He couldn't help but feel jealous even though he knew he was being ridiculous. 
"hello" she said looking at him like he was a old friend and behind her he saw Magnus step out. 
"Alec this is a old friend of mine Tessa, Tessa this is" he paused not knowing the status of Alec "Alec" Alec couldn't help bit feel hurt. 
"it's nice to meet you but I have to go" she waved good bye. 
There was silence for a while until Magnus motioned him to come in and sit on the couch, chairman meow was there and he looked happy to see Alec 
He sat down and he came and sat on his lap purring "did you miss me boy?" he stretched out onto his lap and began to fall asleep. 
"his been moody lately" said Magnus, he just like always had glitter in hair and ridiculous outfits he seemed to be taking the break up better than Alec thought. 
There was silence until Magnus spoke up "I love you Alec" 
"I love you to"
"but what you did was"
"stupid I know and I'm so sorry I can't believe how stupid I was to even think of doing such a thing, I love you Magnus and I want you in my life for as long as i can."
Magnus smiled at him "and I want the same, but you see Tessa there, she had a relationship with a young man called William" will Alec couldn't help but frown "they weren't a couple because will thought she will die because of a curse that was put on will and if she loved him she would die but Will loved her more than anything and so did his parabatia. One day will found out he had no curse so he ran back to tell her of his love for her, but it was to late, she was engaged to his parabatia." Alec didn't understand what that had to do with this and like Magnus was reading his mind he answered "will lied to her and that ruined them and I watched it, I don't want that for us"
"I promise I will never keep anything from you again"
"how can I believe that?"
Alec leaned forward and kissed Magnus leaving chairman meow to meow and run off

Clary~

Simon had gone to Clary's quietly to get her some clothes, she still couldn't face her mum she knew she would just call her another monster like her brother. 
But sadly isabelle got there before Simon thinking ahead and picked out clothes for Clary and making sure clary was wearing the clothes Isabelle bought for her. 
Right now she was wearing leggings and a green sleeveless top. And she didn't think it went, Clary had grown but she still wasn't tall and the leggings didn't look good on her and the too just made her cold. So she grabbed a thin jacket that Isabelle got for her and put it over the top 
It was 11 and Bec was going to be here any minute so Clary put in her contacts and walked out to see Simon on the couch looking stressed. 
"I want to tell her how it happened" he looked up at her "everything"
"and I'll be there with you the whole way and one more thing, have you told her about me?"
"No! That's for you to tell" he put his hands up in protest. 
Just then the doorbell rings "it's Rebecca" he points to his ears and get up to go get the door. 
"show off" clary mumbles as she moves to the couch and sits down. 
Rebecca and Simon walk into the room and when Rebecca sees clary a huge smile appears on her face. 
"Clary oh I haven't see you in a long time" she said as she hugged clary
"I missed you to Bec's" they sat down on the couch and simon on a chair. 
"bec I want to tell you" 
"tell me what"
"about everything me being a vampire"
"Wait! Clary knows about you" she said shocked
Clary spoke up "I was actually there when it happened" Rebecca looked annoyed that she want one of the first to know.
"and we are going to tell you the hole story"
She looked at Simon before she started 
"it all started at the pandemonium club" 
"oh that place you guys like to go to?"
"yes bit please leave all the questions until the end. As I said before it's started at the pandemonium and Simon and I were dancing when I saw a young man pull out a knife and followed a guy and girl in to a storage room with his friend bit Simon couldn't see them" clary told her about Simon being clueless. And the next day clary was out with Simon and jace showed up again and that her mum was attacked, that her father was crazy, that valentine told her that she was haves sister, they talked about Simons transition, the boat, the city of glass, about Sebastian, about Magnus, about clarys mum coming back and telling her everything, about jace dying then coming back, about jace being weird, about Jordan, Mia, about Sebastian taking jace and making him into a minion, about clary leaving, Simon and izzy, Jordan and Mia, the memories, clary driving the sword through Jaces heart. They told her everything, except about clary drinking from the cup. 
"wow" Bec said she turned and looked at clary "so your some shadowhunter with more angel blood" 
"yes"
"okaayy, and my brother is dating a shadowhunter and used to date a werewolf." she looked really confused
"look Bec I no it's a lot to take in but please don't leave me like mum did" Simon said. 
"Si I would never leave you" she said reaching out for his hand. 
He smiled up at her "okay, I'm just going to get a drink" he got up and left
Bec turned to face clary "sooo what happened with Jace?"
"what?" clary said startled. 
"your clearly sad about something"
"I um broke up with him, sort of I tell him tonight because i just needed some space"
"well Simon did tell me that you had started to date some guy who would be anyones perfect"
Clary smiled at this and thought of Jace making some comment that made him look even more vain. "Yhea he is"
"then what are you doing breaking up with him?"
"it's a long story" Bec raised her eyebrow. It had taken then two hours to explain the whole story "it's hard to explain but I might hurt him and if I do I would hate myself"
"but if you break up with him you will. And he sounds like he could really look after you."
"he already does" clary smiled while remembering all the things jace has ever done for her "one time on my birthday, I had only known him for a few days but he made a picnic and he showed me this beautiful flower, I remember thinking why would he put so much effort for a girl like me"
"it sounds like he loved you then"
Clary knew her choice, she had to keep Jace in her life.
