Neil was sure his mouth was open with surprise for a long time because Avni smiled slightly. "I....I can't believe it. Yesterday you were.." He tried to explain, but didn't continue as he saw Avni fidgeting with her fingers; she was going to speak. Finally.

"But after what you did...Oh Neil, I thought about it for a long time, the entire night, how you were so different, how you made me feel special. I just felt if I...stay with you, forever, I would retain everything..." Neil was glad Avni didn't burst into some typical accounts, she was honest, she was proud to admit she was selfish. Neil was happy , she was.

"I know it sounds mad, I had a feeling DD's plan would work...so...this second gift of yours, your mended nuptial chain." Neil scratched the back of his neck, stretching out his hand to her, offering the chain.

"DD's?' Avni asked, shifting uncomfortably. "Oh yeah. No wait,Avni...He knows everything and this idea was lurking in my mind too. I knew I would need guidance from some love expert after that chat of ours." Neil gave out a nervous laugh, taking out his phone to show her the chat.

Avni scanned it, until one thing caught her eye

Avni scanned it, until one thing caught her eye. "It says Danger, Neil." She glared at him and Neil felt so trapped. Avni screamed his name and chased him, to beat him.

"Okay Okay, I'll change it..For now, the chain. May I?" Neil's chest heaved. He slowly put the chain around her neck, his fingers lurking there for a while.

He could feel her heart skipping a few beats, they were going to be together after all. "Neil I was just wondering.." Avni spoke, Neil listened with keen interest, hoping for something.

"Has anyone from your family, ever watched the film I made? Or any of my Dad's?" She turned and smiled. Neil immediately felt let down. He obviously didn't want to hear it.

"Probably. I've been wondering about something too." Neil stared at her and smirked later.
"You've got moles at tempting places."
Avni gasped. This would have took an awkward turn if Mint wouldn't have entered, barking.

"It's probably dinner time." Neil mumbled and walked besides Avni downstairs. The family's faces lit up seeing then holding hands, they made a mental note to not talk about it.

"That dog,is just so wonderful." Karina commented, putting a morcel of the pulses inside her mouth. "Yeah, mint!" Neil exclaimed, they all giggled, hearing the cute name.

"Riya, pack your bags after this, will you?" Bebe, surely faked a smile. Riya choked on her food and nodded, embarrassed.

Avni felt as if she'd won a battle.

Dinner passed away quiet as smoothly, Neil decided to take her to the lawn for a little chitchat.

"Do you reckon we'll be a family?" Neil asked, walking, his eyes fixed on Mint who was trying to hunt something among the grass.

"What do you mean?" Avni brushed Mint's fur. "Considering the fact, I'm a friend to you. Friends....don't...make families....that way." Neil cleared his throat bending down too.

"What am I to you?" Avni asked, staring at him. "Wife, I love my wife." Neil spoke honestly. "Oh Neil!" Avni exclaimed and in a second, Neil could only see bushy brown hair. She had flung her arms around him, wanting to hold him forever.

"I feel so special." She sniffed.
"Because you are. For me at least."
