"You will fail.", "You won't make it." I forced my eyes open only to see myself in front of a mirror. My eeys have a mysterious look in them. My soul burns with just the sight of it. I walked towards the mirror. The more I move forward, the farther it gets away from me.

"Dr. Kang, we have a patient. He set an appointment later this day saying it's urgent." The nurse said. I signaled her to let them in. Today's patient is a famous one. He has long legs and has this yellow hair that literally outshines the sun. "Mr. Choi Yeonjun, the famous model. Dr. Kang at your service." I said then we shook hands. He sat comfortably at the sofa. Contrary to his bubbly personality on cam, he acts indifferent and lost in thoughts off cam. His eyes are also puffy and reddish. Did he cry? With a gulp, he look towards at my direction. "I want to die." Tears fell, soft sobs escalated to loud cries. Apparently, thr model that everyone adores forhis bubbly and bright personality was suffering under that warm mask, full of smiles, of his. I asked my office nurse to grab us some tea. After a couple of minutes, he narrated his story. His first suicidal thought was three years after his debut as a model. He gained so much weight that even the fans noticed it. He was criticized and cyber-bullied that he thought of hanging himself at his his suite after his photoshoot. Fans, even some are hating, encouraged and gave him the will to undergo strict diet. He managed it and made a comeback. If it weren't for the fans, he would be long dead by now. A year after the bullying incident, his trusted manager left him for another model saying that it's because he wasn't good enough and has no future. He felt helpless and alone that voices visit him at night to comfort him. He consulted a doctor who prescribed some sleeping pills for him to take. "I chugged it all down but nothing happened. I tried overdosing myself with various pills but why? Why aren't I dying?!" He was not the first model to consult me with these kinds of matter
Believe me or not, idols, models, and celebrities are prone to commit suicide because they he to live up to their fans expectations, leaving them no choice but to stress themselves pleasing the fans and putting up with threats from haters. In Yeonjun's case, the way he degrades himself also added up in the mixture making his thoughts and actions worst. He thinks lowly of himself- that he was not good enough. I told him some soothing words and asked him to create a support system wherein he could open up and be himself. I also prescribed him some antidepressants. "It's okay not to be okay for the time being. We all have downfalls and challenges in life. We all experience criticisms and hates. I won't tell or recommend you to be like someone else for you have your own way of healing." I stopped and studied his reaction. He is not rejecting it so I continued. "It takes time to heal and I will be here to accompany you until you recover." I walked him to my office's door and bid him goodbye. On the hospital's dark corridor, he walks slowly towards the exit with his eyes on the ground. "It will take him some time before getting there." I sighed.

"Who are you?" I asked my reflection. It stopped at it's track. I heard something breaking faintly, at a distance slowly growing louder each second. Suddenly, I was lifted from the ground. "I am you." The reflection said with an eerie smile.
