Kind of mature???

Niall’s POV

I could hear the shower getting turned on upstairs and panicked as Nancy pushed me in the house so she could step in. She closed the door and turned to smile at me.

“W-what are you doing here? H-how did y-you find m-me?”

“Don’t you remember our tradition?”

“N-no! Y-you can’t!” She smirked and pulled the belt from her bag. “Harr-” She grabbed me and covered my mouth, pushing a cloth against it and tying it at the back of my head. She tied my hands together and cut off my top, pushing me to land on my tied hands and stomach.

“Did you miss me Niall?” I tried to break my hands free but failed as she knotted the rope really tight. She flicked the belt as it hit my bare skin and I creamed into the cloth. “This has to be done”. She whipped me again. “It’s tradition”. I whimpered as the painful stings and the feeling of my skin being split open had returned. “Remember your birthday tradition?” I wanted to scream for Harry. I tried. But it was hopeless with the dirty cloth that was in my mouth. It muffled anything that escaped my lips. “Is it great to see me again?” I clenched my eyes closed as she continued to hit me over and over again. I thought this was over. I thought it ended when I left the orphanage.

“Niall? Where are you?” Nancy knelt down beside me and ran her fingers lightly over my cheek.

“Was nice to see you again Niall, but I have to run” I let the tears fall as my back burned and stung. I struggled with the rope that had my hands tied and gave up as it was completely hopeless.

“Niall?” I heard Harry gasp and suddenly the cloth was taken from my mouth.

“Harry”. I let out a whimper and he untied my hands.

“What happened baby?” My hands were now free and Harry carefully pulled me to him. “Who was it Ni? Who did this to you?” I whimpered and Harry pulled me to a stand. “Let’s get you in the shower”. He helped me up the stairs and I stayed silent. The few whimpers left my lips but that was it. I didn't know what to say. It was like I had forgotten how to talk.
