"Yasss I love it. So that's the new routine guys. Our next competition is Thursday and our most important pep rally is Friday. We gotta lot of work to do. Practice tm at 3 SHARP" I said as I walked to my bag to retrieve my water bottle.
"So uh, where's Payton?" Summer asked , taking a seat on the bleachers. I took a sip of my water before responding.
"Idk, she told me she had something to do." I said shrugging my shoulders. Summer smirked and looked away. I eyed her.
"You know something..?" I asked folding my arms.
"Don't wanna be the bearer of bad news but sis got the hots for your brother", summer said showing me her phone. I scrolled down Payton's page and seen an off guard picture of her and my brother hugged up ,laughing. I smiled and handed summer her phone back and turned away.
"You- you're not mad?" She shrieked , standing up , yanking my arm to turn me around. I snatched from her.
"What's your problem, summer? My brother is allowed to date whom ever he wants!" I snapped.
"But when I wanted to date him it was a problem" she said gripping her hands tight around her water bottle.
"I said WHOM HE WANTS to date, plus You're my Bestfriend. That would've been weird" I said looking at her. She was turning red in the face. She looked off then looked back at me.
"WAS your Bestfriend. See you around , bitch" she said walking past me bumping my shoulder. I scoffed.
"FINE!" I yelled to her , only for her to flick me off. I heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned around and seen Payton.
"Thanks for leading practice today" she said smiling.
"What's with you and my brother? Hm?" I asked cutting straight to the point. She looked shocked.
"Uh , he didn't ...tell you?" She asked whispering. I shook my head no.
"If he told me I wouldn't be asking you" I said in frustration. She sighed.
"I really like your brother. I didn't think it'll be a big deal. Even if we don't work out. It wouldn't jeopardize your spot on the squad. I'm not that petty" she said crossing her arms. I sighed.
"Look , just be careful and treat him right" I said smiling touching her arm. She put her hand on top of mine.
"You know summer has always talked bad about you to the squad. She doesn't deserve to be your Bestfriend better yet friend at all" she said patting my hand.
" oh wow. Really?" I said in disbelief. She nodded.
"But , you'll be fine. Plus , she's off the squad" Payton said smiling , then walked out of the gym. I stood there in shock.
"Payton wait" I called to her. She stopped walking and turned around.
"Wassup?" She asked putting her phone away.
"What....stuff did she say?" I asked playing with my fingernails nervously.
"Nonsense. Called you hoes and shit. Said you buy your way into everything. She said you didn't deserve to be on the squad. All kinds of shit. It's really fucked up. None of the other members believed her. I even told her to shut it once. Like I said she doesn't deserve to be your Bestfriend" Payton said touching my arm before leaving out of the gym. I took out my phone and blocked her number. I can't believe I let this bitch come to my house, eat my food and sleep in my bed !!!!! And she been doing all of this behind my back. I really thought we were Bestfriends. Now I see why my mother don't like her let alone wanted her at the house. I wiped a tear that fell from my eye. I did one big sniff and put a smile on my face. "She's gonna wish she didn't cross me",I said to myself. I headed for the double doors, but on my way to the doors I bumped into someone falling in the process. I looked up and seen this cute chocolate guy with dreads and gold jewelry on.
"You good ma?" He asked holding his hand out for me. I grabbed it and stood up.
"I'm fine. I apologize" I said picking up my cheer bag.
"Ohh you cheer?" He asked putting his hand up to his mouth.
"Yeah , I do. I'm the co-captain" I said smiling.
"Good. So you'll be cheering for me when basketball season start" he said smirking. I laughed.
"I cheer for everybody so I guess so" I said. He looked at me and bit his lip.
"I'm KJ. And you" he said pointing at me.
"I'm india" I said biting my lip back.

It was something about this cat that screamed dangerous and I'm allll for it. ☺️ what about ty your asking? Hmm ...idk. Seeing as he was boo'd up with the girl walking him to class. If He can have options...so can I. 💕
