It's been a couple of weeks and the funeral for my babydad was held last weekend on a Sunday. Not that many people showed up though. It's sad to say I didn't feel as bad as I thought. He wasn't a good person to me or our daughter, but I do feel bad for his mom and siblings they were crying so hard it was hard to see and hear.

Knock knock

"Who is it?" I called out.
"Your favorite person in the world?" A deep sexy voice replied.

I rolled my eyes and smiled. I unlocked the door and opened it.
"Hey you. What's up?" I asked a sleepy but still looking great, Kasson. He smiled and licked his lips.
"Nothin much just wanted to stop by and check out your new place. Moma insisted me to do so. You know to make sure you are In a good area". He said smiling slightly. Mrs.Ruby swear she slick.
I stepped aside and let him come in.
"Soo, you like it?" I asked holding my hands together waiting on his answer. He looked back at me then took another glance around the spacious living room area and looked back at me.
"Yeah it's nice for you" he said mumbling the last part. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

"What are you really doin here? I know you just didnt come to judge me and my apartment choice?". I asked.

He laughed.

"Dang a friend can't check up on you?" He said opening his arms waiting for me to embrace him. I rolled my eyes.

Now, I know what you are thinking and no nothing is going on between me and him. I'm moving forward with Chris. Kasson accompanied me to my baby father's funeral for me and Taliah's safety and since then he's just been sticking around. He doesn't know about Chris and honestly he doesn't have too, it's nobody's business.

I leaned in and hugged him. He gave my ass cheek a soft but firm squeeze. I hurriedly pushed him off of me.

"Yeah don't do that again." I said clearing my throat. "If that's all you came for then I think it's best if you get going" I said slightly smiling. I don't know why I felt guilty, when he's the one who snuck and gave my ass a squeeze. It's not like I told him too.

"It was tempting. My bad ma, it won't happen again" he said holding his hands up in surrender. " On a serious note, Have a good night love" and with that he walked out of my apartment. I shut the door and sighed. I walked over to my couch and sat down.

*Bzzz Bzzz*
I felt a vibration under my butt. I reached under my ass and pulled whatever it was vibrating under me. It was a phone but it wasn't my phone. Most definitely not cause I don't know a Sophie.

I let the phone ring until I could see the lockscreen. And honey, I'm glad I did. I cant believe this nigga!!!
