Previously: Soul took off to take Maka to Professor Stein's to get medical help. Stein wasn't home and Miss. Marie explained he was still at the academy at a meeting with Lord Death and Spirit. Soul and Maka took off together to the DWMA, ran into Crona the way there, and they all went to find Stein. Stein was in the Death Room with Lord Death and Spirit. Maka admitted everything to them. Stein takes her to the infirmary and Lord Death and Spirit have a talk with Crona about helping her through the rough pregnancy.

Maka laid on a hard, cold hospital bed. The room was dark, black and red blood was leaking from the floorboards and the walls. Stein stood there holding a drill. He switched the drill on and started to laugh insanely as he moved closer to Maka. Her hands and legs were chained to the bed.
"SOUL! CRONA! Where are you?!!" She screamed in horror for help.
"Now Maka this won't hurt a bit..."
"W-What are you going to do to me?" She cried, struggling to get free.
Stein laughed.
"I'm going to cut you open and dissect your baby."
Maka's eyes widened.
"NO! Get back! You're not going to hurt me or my child. YOU HEAR ME? GET BACK!"
"Heh, heh, heh... You're wrong. I'm very interested to see your insides.. And your child."
"My baby isn't even fully grown yet! You CAN'T do that. GET AWAY!"
"Fine..Fine.. But only if you hold still."
Maka continued to struggle.
"Let me go." She glared at him and the blood began to flood the room.
"Oops, you moved. Now you both die." He laughed and raised the drill in the air. He brought it down on Maka's stomach and guts went everywhere along with flesh and blood.

Maka awoke screaming at the top of her lungs. Stein, Crona, and Soul rushed into the infirmary.
"Maka! What's wrong!?" Soul grabbed her and held her close stroking her hair.
"I..I... It was a bad nightmare..."
"It's alright.. I've got you. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore.. I-It was just a dream okay?"
Maka nodded and sobbed into his chest.
Crona came over and sat on the other side of the bed.
"W-What happened in the dream?" Crona asked and put his hand over hers.
"It was horrible.. S-Stein.. He was trying to hurt me.. Hurt our baby.."
Stein coughed lightly.
"Maka I won't hurt you...remember it was just a nightmare. The baby's madness is probably starting to spread throughout your body, causing the nightmares. Are you in any pain?"
Maka shook her head.
"N-no. Not exactly.. Just mental pain.. That nightmare really has me shaken up."
"Well be prepared because there will probably be much more to come.."
Maka gulped.
"I don't know if I can take it.. And I don't understand... I have an anti-demon wavelength.. This shouldn't be effecting me."
Stein sighed.
"It's complicated, I don't understand it either. Perhaps this madness is so powerful it's overcoming your wavelength."
