Alexis's point of view

"It doesn't matter. Answer the question. Why do you have it. " she asked. Eli doesn't get angry very often, but right now she is pissed. Fuck.

"Eli, baby." I said. "Don't call me that right now" she said. "Okay, I'm sorry. Just listen, I know I should've told you I had it . I'm sorry I didn't. Just after last time, I didn't want to take any chances." I told her. She sat it down on the counter. "Get rid of it. Now Alexis." She said. "Yeah, okay." I said.

She walked away into the bedroom. I stopped cooking grabbed my leather jacket. Shoved my phone in my pocket, grabbed the keys and left. I went and got rid of the gun like she asked me.

I came back to the apartment. Eli was still in the room. I'm not so sure if I should go in there or not. She was really pissed at me. Dispite knowing she is mad I went in anyway. I knocked than walked in.

"Hey, Eli?" I said walking in. She was laying on the bed. "Why the fuck didn't you tell me, Alexis?" She questioned. I flinched at her words. I've never heard her so harsh before. "I'm sorry. I know I should've" I told her. "Yeah, you should have. We are getting married. We aren't supposed to keep secrets or lie to each other. So what the hell?" She angrily stated.

"Okay. I don't know how many times I have to say sorry." I said. "It's not about you apologizing." She told me.
"Than what's it about?" I asked her.
"I started thinking about all the things your hiding from me. All the secrets and lies. I don't want that in our marriage." She told said.

"What secrets? What lies? The gun is the only thing I have kept a secret from you." I told her. "No. You keep so many secrets. I know nothing about your parents. Whenever I ask really personal questions you ignore me. I don't want that anymore." She said.

"I'm sorry. What do you want from me?" I asked. "The truth. Omg. Is it that hard?" She asked. "Fine. God damn. What do you want to know?" I asked her.

"First don't cuss at me. I know this is are first argument. That doesn't mean you can talk to me like that"  she said.

"Your right. I'm sorry." I apologized.
"I don't know what you expect from me. My parents are deadbeats that left years ago. There's nothing more to it" I told her. "You have no idea why they left?" She questioned me. "No, they slowly started picking up more shifts at work. Than my mom all of a sudden left. Than my dad. Both gone without a word. They left Years ago. I have no clue where they are.  Can this conversation be over already?" I said with an annoyed tone.
