I woke up to a big beaming yellow light in front of my eyes. I blinked rapidly, adjusting to the light in front of me. The scent of coffee came to my attention and I turned my head to see a cup of coffee on the counter next to me.

I saw a note under it, so I picked up the cup to get the note. It was written in a handwriting I didn't recognize.

Ham and I thought you'd want some coffee after the operation. Hope it went well. We probably won't be here when you wake up but we'll come by later.

- Chocolate <3

Ps. Ham says you better wake up so he can kill you himself. He's tired of you scaring him.

I chuckled at the last sentence and put the note on the table and sat upright to drink the coffee.

I smelt the coffee and a smile crept its way on my face.

Cinnamon.

Only Chloe knows that I love my coffee with cinnamon.

I studied the room I was in. It was a different room. The 4 walls surrounding me were blue with a lot of lights on the ceiling. The floor was made out of smooth wood. I feel like skating on the floor and instagraming it right now.

The door opened and I looked forward to see Chloe come in. She wore a smile as she came in, my phone in her hand.

"Thought you'd want this." She said, twirling my phone in her hand.

I smiled at my sister who always reads my mind. "What could I do without you?"

She smirked and handed me my phone, "Nothing. Literally nothing. As long as I'm alive, I'm taking you on a lot of adventures."

"Yippee." I sarcastically responded.

She chuckled and sat down in the chair next to the bed. Today she was wearing something totally different. She rocked a pink Chanel crop top followed by black high waist ripped jeans and black and white Nike Kyrie 5's. Her whole outfit was just a bomb.

"Chloe, your outfit - you look nice."

"Oh, thanks. Got the whole outfit from Gabriel for our 3rd anniversary last month. And this." She showed me her diamond ring on her left ring finger. It glowed really brightly under the lights and I was happy to see Chloe glow like this. Every time she talks about Gabriel she either glows or blushes or both, and I'm always there to tease her about it.

"You miss him hella much right?" I asked, staring at the ring on her finger.

"Hella much."

"Well at least I got you hear right now. Even though it's only for a few days."

"You seem to forget that I'm finishing medical school this year. I'm coming back home baby!" She exclaimed, doing a little dance.

I laughed at her antics as she kept on dancing. I missed her. She was always here to pick me up when I fell down but when she left for France, I was devastated. I no more had my only best friend to play with. No more of her funny stories she would tell me every night. No more of our stressful yet stupid fights. Even though we are 8 years apart, that doesn't change anything. We'll always be the same age to each other.

"Permanently?" I asked her.

"I don't know. Gabriel suggested that we live in California. It's always been his dream to live there and you know it's always been my dream to live in Hollywood." She said, giving me a reassuring smile.

"I remember 8 years ago, the day before you left for France, we had a long and deep conversation that night. Lasted until 5am. The movie we were supposed to watch, finished without us watching it. You told me all about your dreams and what you wanted to do for mom when you grew up. You told me you wanna build her a mansion with a lot of maids and you want her to be treated as a queen. You hated it when mom would work every day. You never got to speak to her as mother and daughter. Only times she would be home, she would just sleep the whole day," I chuckled at the memory,
