Rushing to Saftey

The very flying ship Absinthe was on when she ended up here was above her, but not the same. It was missing pieces, and had smoke pouring from it as if it were a volcano about to erupt. A firey glow came from inside the ship. It was headed towards a mountain. It had around five minutes before crashing.
Vin stared in awe at the ship, when Absinthe snapped. "Wait!! I remember animals on that ship! They could still be on!!" Absinthe yelped. Vin looked at the ship and back at her. Vin nodded as if to say "Let's go." Absinthe nodded.
Vin fluttered upland latched onto a piece of wood and metal and threw them up there. Absinthe was right, animals were on the ship! Turtles and Mushroom like creatures panicking as the ship burned and crackled
. There were so many more as well! Absinthe shook and got her self together "I see something at the end.. Vin, get these guys off, I'll get to the end to check if there's anything. Vin nodded and charged into the mess. Absinthe followed behind, not stopping however. The creatures were terrified, running around the floor. Absinthe jumped over them, avoiding hurting them or herself. The thing she saw at the end started coming into view better. It was green and metallic . She didn't stop to guess, though, and kept running. She could hear Vin calling for the creatures. Absinthe slowed to a stop when she finally saw it. A green pipe. Nothing interesting, well that's what she thought. She turned around until she heard "PLEASE!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Coming from the pipe. Absinthe froze in fear. She turned back to it and stuck her head in the pipe. Fire crackled and grew, surrounding a small turtle. They had small spikes on their shell. They had spiky green hair and glasses. They had insane looking eyes, that, despite how they looked, conveyed fear and sorrow as the fire grew. "Hold on in there! I'll get ya out!" Absinthe called to them. They nodded anxiously. Absinthe stuck her head back. She looked around and noticed a piece of metal that had fallen from the roof. She snatched it and slowly and carefully climbed through the pie so she could see them again. She stuck the pole right next to his him as far as it could go. They latched on hurriedly. Absinthe dragged her hand up through the pipe to re grip. Slip. She grabbed on to the edge of the tube before she fell fully.The kid was shaking, and Absinthe was panicking. Her arm slowly got tired, and the fire seemed to get even hotter every second. She closed her eyes and tears slowly ran down her mask. She opened her eyes slowly and a figure was crawling down the pipe. It was none other than Vin! She latched onto Absinthes hand and pulled them up on to her back. Absinthe's shock formed into a smile as she wiped her away "Vin!! You're ok!!" She smiles cheerfully. Vin was running through the burning ship. The kid hugged onto Vin and Absinthe scared. A piece of wood cracked and began to fall down above the three. Absinthe grabbed the wood before it hurt them, but it made Vin flinch. The end was in view, but barley, as the smoke began to cover it. The pay reached the end and Vin slowed down. BOOM! A loud explosion erupted. The ship crashed. Absinthe hopped off and grabbed the kid and Vin and jumped off. Just in time actually. The explosion reached the entire ship, and it shattered like glass. They landed on the floor. Absinthe groaned and sat up. Vin sat up slowly as well. Suddenly, cheering from the creatures Vin got off the ship started cheering for them. Applauding and cries of joy came from the booming crowd. Absinthe shook off the pain and smiled. "Thank you!" She giggled. Vin smiled and nodded. The kid Absinthe saved got up. "Th-thank you.." They stuttered, still in shock from what had happened. Absinthe laughed "No worry!"
The kid shook his head "I mean it! I mean, I hate when those pesky plumbers always end up crashing my ship!! Glad to see someone that cares that isn't with my dad.." He shook his head again, trying to find a way to make a good impression to the things that just saved him "I'm Iggy. I guess I owe you one huh.."
Absinthe snickered "No No! You're fine. We just got a little lost and found your ship." Vin nodded, agreeing with what she had said. Iggy perked "You're lost? Then let us help ya get back! I mean, it's the least we could do to repay you two.."
Absinthe wanted to disagree, but she really wanted to get back home. "You sure?" She said to clarify. Iggy nodded and signaled the others. "Koopas, Check west. Goombas, East, Eveyone else, North and South for her Uh.. What does your home look like?.." Absinthe giggled and started to describe her home.
Dimentio walked through the forest anxiously. He didn't know if he had made a mistake skipping lunch. He was starving. He sat by a tree and looked in the distance. He saw a cloud of smoke coming from a mountain. It would take a while to get there.. BOOM! He jumped from the loud explosion. A burst of light came from the mountain. He got up and dusted off "It wouldn't hurt to check it out.. I should tell the others that I'm going far first... right?... Wait, what if that was Absinthe?!" He was beginning to get paranoid. He hesitated but began to run to the smoke cloud. His stomach growled but his anxiety got the best of him. It seemed like ages went by. The mountain was further away then he thought it was. He panted, gasping for air after running for so long. He sighed as he began to turn back around to get home. Little did he know, an army of enemies marched not to far from.
