Chapter Thirteen: I

(Sana's POV)

I watch Y/n speed out of the room in search for Nayeon. Why is he doing all of that for her? Does he actually like her?

I sigh and run my hand through my hair. I plant myself on the floor next to Dahyun and place my head on her shoulder.

"You're making a mess Sana.. you should have confessed to Y/n.." Dahyun whispers, wrapping her arm around me and giving me a small hug..

"I know Dahyun.... I'm just..... strange.... I guess.." I close my eyes as Dahyun slowly rubs my back. She's so relaxed and calm....

"YAH!! SANA!!" Judging by the voice, I'm one hundred percent positive that it's Jinyoung. I open my eyes and stand up.

He looks at me with anger overflowing from his eyes. I take a step closer and rest my head in the center of his chest, sighing out of frustration after...

"I know Jinyoung. I messed up. Spare me the lecture. If you want to break up, then let's break up. I'm sorry..." I say, my voice flowing with sadness.

He doesn't respond. I hear him sigh as he wraps his arms around me and gives me a hug.

"I'll give you another chance. Let's go, I'm taking you home." I lift my head up from his chest and smile widely at him.

He gives me a small smile back before grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the house.

We stand in front of his car as he unlocks it and opens my door. I enter the car after giving him a small smile.

I place my seat belt on as he enters the car, sitting in the driver seat. He places his seat belt on and starts the car.

The ride to my house was extremely quiet. Way too quiet for my liking. I decide to break the silence.

"You're still upset with me right?" I look at him with concern. He glances at then turns all of his attention back to the road.

"What do you think? Do I look like I'm mad?" He doesn't move his gaze from the road. He tightens his grip on the wheel.

"Yeah.. you do.." He chuckles at my words and glance at me. His eyes are flowing with anger like before. I've never seen him this mad before.

"Why wouldn't I be mad? You guy's kissed right?" He raises an eyebrow at me as if he was expecting me to say something different.

"I-I.... w-we.... I didn't mean to Jin-"

"So you guys did kiss.... I was hoping it wasn't true..." He sighs and beats his fist against the wheel a few times. "Was he the person you liked?"

I look at him. He looks at me. He chuckles softly and turns back to the road.

"Don't tell me you still like him. Is that why you kissed him? I can't believe this. What does he have that I don't??" He exclaims, his voice cracking a little.

"Jinyoung.... don't be like that..... I told you, i didn't mean for it to happe-."

"If you didn't mean for it to happen, then did you push him away?" He looks at me, water building up in his eyes.

I can't answer.. I didn't push him away..

He sighs and runs his hand through his hair out of frustration.

"Sorry.." I mumble. I rest my head on the window and stare out of it. The ride goes back to it's quiet state. Only the engine of the car can be heard.

As I stare out the window, I spot a male sitting on a bench. Is that.....

"Wait, stop the car Jinyoung." I say, keeping my gaze on Y/n. He looks up at our car and stares at me. He then gets up and walks away.

"Wait... is that- That bastard." Jinyoung rushes out of the car and darts over to Y/n. "Yah!"

Y/n turns around and looks at Jinyoung.

Jinyoung swings at Y/n, and lands a hit right on his cheek.

"Jinyoung stop-"

I get cut off to the sound of Jinyoung hitting Y/n again. This time Y/n falls to the ground.

Jinyoung gets on top of him and punches him multiple times.

I should stop him. Why can't I stop him??

"Jinyoung STOP!!" I yell, hoping that it would snap Jinyoung out of this mode he's in.

Y/n grabs his fist and holds it. He looks up to Jinyoung and smiles softly.

"Why are you smiling for? Do you enjoy pain?!" Y/n chuckles at his words before pushing Jinyoung off of him.

"Do you even know why you're beating me up? You're doing it because of what Sana said, right?" I look at him and raise my eyebrow.

"Why did you kiss her. Tell me. Why.." Y/n looks at me and smiles softly he then looks back to Jinyoung.

"Firstly, I didn't kiss her. She kissed me. Secondly, I didn't pull away because I liked it and because I like he-" he gets cut off by Jinyoung hitting him again.

"Shut up." Jinyoung gets up and walks over to him. He grabs him by the collar and glares at him. "I dare you to touch my girlfriend again..."

He let's go of his collar and walks over to me. He grabs my hand and drags me back to the car.

"And you guys call yourselves my friends. In fact, you call yourselves my bestfriends." I look back at him and stare at him. He looks at me with pain and sadness overflowing from his eyes.

I..... I'm sorry Y/n....
