Narrator POV
It's been 4 years since weirdmaggedon and since the twins have been anywhere near the sleepy little town of gravity falls as they were not allowed anywhere near it because of there parents and what really happened that fateful summer, and with that being said the twins are returning to the falls to finally have a normal summer but we all know a summer in gravity falls is anything but normal...
Dippers POV
It's been 4 years since we were last here I looked out the window, and back to my twin who was fast asleep in the chair next to me and a sign out the window saying 'now entering gravity falls.'
About twenty minutes later the bus came to an abrupt stop and I hit my head on the seat in front of me "ow" I said silently, the driver yelled "Last stop gravity falls!" I looked to my right to the seat next to mine and see my twin Mabel, who was still sleeping on top of her duffel bag and I poked at her saying "Mabel get up we're here" She woke up looking half awake but still excited "Ok let's go!" We grabbed our things, and got off the bus with excitement in our eyes.
Mabels POV
I woke up to my twin saying "Mabel get up we're here" feeling a little bit groggy I said "Ok let's go!" When we got off the bus I looked around, and felt really excited yet nostalgic to be back in gravity falls Dipper, my twin said "it's feels good to be home!" he screamed as we both knew that gravity falls was our true one and only home.
We went into town to explore our old stomping grounds to see nothing had changed the arcade was still there down the street from lazy Susan's diner we both smiled and started to head back to we're it all began the mystery shack we both smiled to see that the S was still hanging upside down, and with the same beat up couch on the porch.
Dippers POV
After looking around outside the shack we went inside seeing that everything was still the same here as well the vending machine that was a secret door leading to the lab was still there along with all the old antiques in the gift shop when we walked in, there was a certain red headed cashier who had her head in a magazine while saying "Welcome to the mystery shack..."
