Hope didn't know how she got here, one moment she was leaving school the next she was dragging a bloody Derek Hale into her living room.
"What happened Derek?" Hope had so many questions.
"We tried to," Derek let out a groan of pain as he tried to sit up, "fight the alpha pack. It didn't go well." He groaned again and Hope walked into the adjoining room to get supplies for a healing spell.
"I can see that," She poked her head out the doorway. She came out carrying several small bottles and a grimore. She held her hands over his chest. "Asinta Mulaf Hinto, Sho Bala." Hope saw Derek relax almost immediately.
"Thank you, Hope." He grabbed hold of her hand.
"It will only help with the pain. The healing will still take awhile." Hope began to mix a salve that would help with the healing as Derek took a seat on her coach.
"Why did come to me?" Hope stopped and looked up at Derek as she voiced the question that had been dancing around her head since she found him. "You could Scott, Deaton, Stiles, you plenty of choices, why me?"
"I don't really know, something just drew me to you. I was hurt and all I could think was that I had to find you." Derek was genuine in his explanation he had no idea why but he was drawn to her.
"I'd keep your distance from me." Derek gave Hope a questioning look, "The people I care about tend to die me." She busied herself to avoid the painful topic.
"I guess we have that in common then." Hope looked up at the man in front of her and for the first time in a long time she saw someone she could care about. It terrified her. "Most of my family died in a house fire a few years ago and I lost one of my betas, Erica, not too long ago." He felt like he could trust her like she could help heal his wounds.
"My dad lived for a thousand years, he was immortal, but even immortal beings can find a way to die. My mom was killed while trying to protect me from people who saw us as abominations for being hybrids. My Uncle Elijah loved her and devoted his life to saving my father from himself so he decided that he would die with him. My stepdad, the woman my dad loved, so many people died for me." Derek got up and walked over to Hope.
"That's not your fault, Hope." He placed a hand on her cheek, she leaned into the warmth.
"I don't want you or anyone else to join that list. It's long enough already." Hope felt a tear fall.
"Hope," Derek held Hope in his arms, his voice flooding with emotion, "I'm not going anywhere." Hope felt herself moving closer to Derek as her hand found its way to the back of his neck. She felt his every breath and heard his heart beating. Derek was always so impatient, he connected there lips and kissed Hope with more passion than he thought possible. Nothing had ever felt more right. That night they helped heal each over, inside and out. That night was the beginning of an epic love.
A/N Sorry for the short chapter! I just wanted to clarify that this story doesn't follow the Teen Wolf timeline. Basically I changed it so that Hope could have healing sex with Derek and get traumatized with the rest of the pack at the weird hotel that's name I can't remember. Anyway please comment and vote.
