(Emmett and Alex are both setting on a park bench neither have said or signed a word. Alex taps Emmett and raises his hands to start the conversation.)

Alex : Signs : When you texted me and told me to meet you at the park I assumed you would bring my children with you.

Alex : signs : I thought about it . I got asked out once but I turned them down I am not dating anyone until our divorce is final.

(Alex gets up from the bench and walks over and sets down in the swings. Emmett walks in his direction and takes a seat in the swing beside Alex.)

Emmett : Signs : Your not escaping this.

Alex : signs : I love Baylee it's just Baylee and I can't be parents and be a couple. Were a perfect couple. Then we had children and everything changed.

Emmett : signs : Everything changes in a relationship when you have children that's just a fact of life Alex.
